This series has it all, it moves at a fast pace, great spice and dirty talk, violence, dominant men, issues are resolved by the end of the book, no cliffhangers and happy endings!! I like that each of the MFC in the series are different. They are strong, each having their own struggles to overcome but the men help them become queens!! Love the epilogues so we can see a glimpse of what happens after with family life!!

I read the first two books of this series about a year ago and decided to go back and reread them so I can continue the series. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot of this book. I loved Liam. I can't really say I loved Kiara honestly. She annoyed me at times. I felt like she had an emotional attachment of a child . I understand going through trauma and everyone has their own trauma responses but honestly I felt like she was just a cry baby. I wish we had more time with Jimmy. And even more time with her mom. I could've done with less epilogues of children and more time with the parents especially after Liam realizes he loves Kiara. Overall good read but found myself a little bored this time around and really pushed to finish it just to continue with the series. I also wish Liam and Kiara wouldn't have been such instant love because with a storyline like this I feel as though slow burn is appropriate. I especially loved the side characters such as Will, Denise, and Declan. I felt this book had more potential honestly whereas certain things just drug on or were fillers. I didn't need to read the last 8% of the book about their children and their routine. Again I would've rather read about Liams dad and what happened after he killed Finn. What about will and Denise? Did they ever go on their date ? What about Declan? We never really hear anything about any of the side characters lives that were mentioned throughout the book. I mean don't get me wrong this book is about Liam and Kiara but why Introduce several other characters if you are not going to delve more into them. Actually the more I write this reviewed the more I would give it 3 stars instead of 4 just because again the storyline was very promising and Liam was a great character. I thoroughly enjoyed the 1st book of the series and I will continue to read the rest of the series and hoping that I can give the next one a better rating

Fortunately Liam, Jimmy’s friend and head of the Irish mafia hears Kiara scream and runs in and saves her only to find out that not only has his relative been molesting an employee, he has been trying to take over behind Liam’s back.Liam has never been cozy with anyone, but he finds himself powerfully attracted to Kiara as he comforts her. He knows immediately that he will never let her go, as he is the thing Jimmy truly feared, the man who would claim his daughter.This is a very sexy and an extremely romantic story and isn’t short on storyline or adventure. Good job Ms. Heard.

I, wrongly, assumed Michelle Heard couldn’t top the Greeks in book one as this book just took the cake! Michelle us a masterful writer and I’ve loved everything I’ve ever read by her over the years. She has this knack for bringing the characters to life and making you lose yourself in their story. Not a lot of boring build up. She gets right to it from the beginning of the story and for me that is perfect as I will ONLY give a book 3 chapters (I hear their are those who give less!) to capture my attention or it goes in the DNF pile. Never had that problem here. Our h was a normal girl (so she thought) out to take care of her family. She had a big heart and wanted only the best for those around her. She got hired for a dream job that’d allowed her to help out with both parents and couldn’t be happier accept both parents wanted her to quit…IMMEDIATELY! Then we have our H, Liam whom we met in book 1 who turns out to be more than we bargained for! He’s got and powerful. Likened to Charlie Hunaan 🥵boy once I had THAT visual in my head all beats were off! 😭 These two seemed like an unlikely pairing who turned out to be just what the other needed.The heat and steam were cranked up to high as always. Man oh man were the theses scenes VERY descriptive and 🔥AF! Michelle always a delivers there too so if you’ve ever read any of her books you know what you’re in for!All in all another great installment to this series and I cannot wait to see whose up next!

It’s well written, the mcs are sweet. Liam falls instantly in love with Kiara. He saves her from his brother, Finn, before he violates her. It’s a slow simmer, mafia lite romance. There’s a bit of danger from Finn who wants a piece of Liam’s mafia empire. Add to that that it’s alluded to that he has violated his employees in the past. It’s half workplace half mafia romance. It’s a good mafia story. If you are used to dark mafia romances, it’s not for you and that’s ok.

Liam, the head of the Mafia is a brutal, hard cold man who detests the touch of another human. Kiara is a young and gentle soul. When they meet Liam reacts to her and can’t understand why. There is chemistry there but it’s foreign to him. When he’s faced with a traumatized Kiara, he consoles another for the first time ever. This a fast paced book with sexual violence and the violence usually associated with the Mafia. Liam and Kiara’s love is sweet and spicy. This is a lovely read and I totally recommend. I haven’t read a Michelle Heard book that I’ve been able to put down. Enjoy!

Kiara lived safe life with no problems till she started working for Liam. Her father warned her to stay away but she didn’t listen.Having Finn targeting her with threats and Liam saving her from him, it was something she never thought would happen.Liam and Kiara were meant to be from the start. She’s the only person who could make him feel . The sparks between these two were flashing from the start and I absolutely loved this story!

I'm loving this series. Each book has you hooked. The alpha and the strong woman, hot,sexy,a touch of mafia violence and sometimes a HEA! What's not to enjoy.
