Dog Collar with Pink LED Lights, Multi-Function, Small

I bought these collars because I have a black Pomeranian and he is hard to see in the dark. I also bought one for my Maltese. I purchased both in size small and while they are adjustable, were too much collar for my 7 lb. Maltese (around her neck). I put the collar around her upper chest area with breathing room and she looked very pretty (kinda 80's disco) her in pink light up. She wore this over her snuggy sweater and it fit fine. For my 10 lb. Pom I purchased the blue light up and he wore his proudly around his neck, I left it loose, he doesn't pull. I have seen many (reviews) complain about the sizes being too big but you can adjust these collars. I wouldn't suggest them for dogs under 8 lbs only because of the width of the collar and perhaps even the weight. A dog that is 7 lbs, even 1/4 of a lb. is probably too much around the neck. While walking the dogs I wished everyone would turn their lights out so I could see my dogs glow in the dark. LOL. The clasp is a bit tight but it is better than a clasp that doesn't work. I think these collars are good for night walking.

I recently purchased 2 of these collars for my dogs to wear in the evenings. We have a large backyard and my small dogs, especially the black one, easily disappear into the shadows when out for an evening run. Both of these collars seem to function well and definitely keep my dogs visible. I'm unable to rate these 5 stars though, as they are nearly impossible to open. The plastic clasps on both of these are so tight that I could barely open them once. There's no way I could possible open them while my dogs were wearing them without potenitally choking them. Because my dogs are tiny, I can actually slide the smalls around their heads, but need to clip the collar to their usual one to keep them from shaking them off. This will still suit my purpose well enough, but it's definitely not a fully functioning collar. Beware!

This collar really delivered. It arrived promptly, and other than pulling out the clear film strip to activate the battery, was ready to go. The multi-function option of chasing lights, blinking,(fast,slow or steady) was nice too. I bought both pink and blue, the colors are bright, vibrant and clearly visible. My children took the dogs trick-o-treating with the collars blinking and everyone commented on them. They work exceptionally well camping, lasted for hours out at Glamis in the desert. You can spot your animal from quite a distance. I have still not replaced the batteries. I don't usually leave the collars on the dogs full time at home, because frankly they are so cool, I want them to last. My dogs (Golden retrievers & one chi) yank each other's collars alot. So I can't comment on long term durability worn daily over time. Unlike another reviewer, I had no issues working the clasp. I love these collars and am 100 percent satisfied with this purchase

UPDATED:New batteries did solve the problem. Kind of. The lights stop working at random with brand new batteries, requiring it to be turned on again numerous times in one evening. I was able to use this for the event I wanted it for, but will not be able to use it ongoing. With the cost of the collar + additional cost for the batteries to make it work-but-not-work... I would NOT purchase this again. One star.___________________________________________________________Just received this collar, removed inner battery tab. Lights flashed for maybe 3 seconds and now it does literally nothing. That this product was supposed to come with batteries that last 100 hours, I am hoping that I can replace the batteries tomorrow and it will work. I'm annoyed at the additional expense, and I'm still unsure if that will solve the problem or not. I will update my review after I have gotten new batteries. Otherwise I will be returning this immediately. I needed this for an event for tomorrow night, so if the batteries aren't the issue then this was a waste of time and money. Fingers crossed…

This collar was used for visual recognition at night for a small dog. It was never used with a leash. It was always slid over the dog's head to put it on. It lasted a several months then some of the lights began to stop working. After awhile all the lights stopped working. One could bend the collar and the lights would come on again. Some type of short. I emailed the seller and they replaced it at no charge nor any shipping cost!! (impressive!) However the collar again has died after a few months use. Again the behavior is like a short in the wiring. Don't waste your money. Try another brand.

I bought this collar in pink for my 8 week old black goldendoodle. Even though it's a couple inches too big for her, she will grow into it quickly. We have a big yard with a hill on the side and she likes to go up there at night. Before we got the collar, we couldn't see her but now we can keep great track of her when it's dark out. Another reviewer had trouble getting the collar clip to open but we didn't have a problem with the closure. Definitely worth the price.

I love this for my dark colored shih poo. For when she goes outside at night. It is so hard to see her we live in a rural area and with her dark colors especially when she was smaller and wanted to run off and play this was great to keep up with her. And she did not mind it. My dad even considered this for his huntin dogs. Haven't had to replace the batteries bought in late may. I don't used it as often as I did. But for about 3 months it was used almost every night.

My little mini Schnauzer doesn't like it because it is very stiff, like most of the nylon collars. Lights work as advertised. Shipping was as promised and item arrived in a timely manner. Since my dog won't use it, maybe my wife will.
