Minibot Robotic Vacuum Cleaner X5 for Hard Floors Tile Rugs and Pet Hairs Strong Suction Golden

I would call this a sweeper instead of a vacuum but it does what it is intended to do very well - works well on pet fur unless the fur has been stepped on frequently on rugs/carpets - I use it daily to keep on top of the pet hair - maintains clean rugs pretty well after rugs/carpets are first vacuumed thoroughly with a regular vacuum cleaner - not loud - our dog and 3 cats are not bothered by it traveling around - needs help finding its docking station

while it worked it met my expectations, however, it worked without problems only 7 months even when its use was moderate and it was cleaned and maintened according to manufacturer recommendations.

It has a problem docking and the remote doesn't work?

Didn't work going from hardwood floors to wool rugs and didn't work on the wool rug. Worked fine on the hardwood. Seller was great and returned the purchase price.

I like it so much Im getting another one

I purchased this product in August 2017, and at the time it was $100 cheaper than it is now. It worked well for several months, but recently it has started malfunctioning. It will only move forward a foot or so then back up or turn as if it ran into something. It does this on an open area with nothing nearby to block it’s path and will only clean a few square feet unless I manually move it to another area. I’ve completely cleaned the vacuum, wiped the sensors and replaced the brushes and nothing has helped. I hate to have paid $150 for something that is useless just over 6 months later. I definitely would not suggest paying the $250 they are now asking.

I really liked this robot vacuum much more than the previous one that I just returned (Eufy brand), but after about a Month, this one randomly started going backwards about every 5 seconds. It would then say that it was fully charged, but not run for a long amount of time and return to the dock.I believe that I will be returning this (possibly defective) robot vacuum and ordering a new one... not sure if I will choose this one again or try to find an alternative.This one is a bit taller than my other one, with nice big brushes to pick up the dust and hair. It handles my dog's long hair pretty well. The dust box is kind of odd, but it is easy to dump it without having to open it. It cleans in a smarter motion then my other one, going in lines back and forth across the room. It knows how to navigate back to it's dock. The instruction manual is kind of hard to understand.I would give it a 3/5, I will consider adjusting my review if I get some feedback from Customer Support, because I did like this vacuum and want to keep it.

Works ok-ish, but the bristles scatter particles around, too far for the machine to vacuum them up. We also experienced problems with the device not finding it's docking station. Decided to return the product.
