I just love these biscuits
As I get older (not old - in my early 60's), I love the plainer biscuits, Italian cookies and biscotti more than ever. I cook and bake a lot, and love all kinds of wonderful baked goods, but when it comes to comfort foods and happy nibbling, these are wonderful. They are on the dry side, not terribly sweet, and yet perfect when you want something small between meals, or with tea. I have no idea if they're good for the digestive system, but they make me feel warm and cozy inside - and that's good enough for me. Plus, they remind me of my days spent studying in England back in the 70's - very unlike scones, but very typically British. I read some reviews that their biscuits came crumbled. Perhaps the company learned from experience, but they were wonderfully packaged in bubble wrap and every biscuit came in tact - all the way from England and with free shipping no less!

Digestive cookies
Good digestive cookies but over priced. Recommed that larger quantities be offered at reduced prices. I would order a case if stocked.

The Best
This is the only thing my mother, who is 95, will eat for breakfast. She has them with her coffee and spreads them with cream cheese. I prefer them plain with hot tea. They are the best English bisquit available in the states, always fresh and delicious. Try them, you won't be disappointed. My only complaint is that they are often hard to find and since they are imported, sometimes they are out of stock on line. They are a flaky biscuit, not too sweet and are wonderful plain or with jam or cream cheese.

Shop around
They tasted as described. If you don't care for really sweet cookies these are fine. I gave only 2 stars because they were almost 9 months past expiration date. And also, Walmart has them for a third of the price.

Seems I bought a bag of crumbs....
Not a good deal, the biscuits were all broken and most of them had there edges crushed and turned into crumbs. This would appear to be because the packaging was completely underwhelming. Since t b en packet need to be opened find this out no chance to return.I will not be buying from British Delights again. This is a rip off.
