Make sure to choose the correct rating (force in Kg)
The original struts (Pic 1) on my waste bin boxes had failed and there was no indication of where to obtain spares. Also, I was unsure as to what weight these struts should be to support my box lids. In the event I chose this model to see what would happen. The original struts were riveted in place so I removed the complete hinge and drilled out the rivets, replacing them with nut, bolt and washers (Pic 2). When I remounted the hinge assembly I found that a single strut was strong enough to keep the lid in place with ease. No need to buy additional struts over the two I had bought originally. Very pleased with the outcome.

Impeccable pour remplacer vérin top-case Spyder RT 2014
Peut remplacer avantageusement le vérin supportant le capot du top-case d'un Spyder Can-Am RT 2014, les extrémités vissées du vérin d'origine se mettent sans problème sur le remplaçant. Personnellement , j'en ai placé 2 (200mm ouvert).Les 2 avec le transport me reviennent à moitié prix d'un seul de chez Can-Am.
