Medium Economy Wooden Urn Box

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. The pros: Beautiful, sturdy and relatively inexpensive box - i got the XL size- that fit the black plastic box the ashes had come in. Our funeral home would have transferred the ashes for us but we decided last minute to get a new container, and it was so nice and simple to just put one box inside the other. The box came in one day with no shipping issues. The screw at the bottom was secure and easy to use. However the box came with a small ding in one corner, probably because it had only a thin layer of bubble wrap as protection. It was packed in two boxes- one from the shop and one Amazon one- but I think it needed more padding. We only needed the box for church, where it was covered with a cloth, and then for a short service at the cemetery before it was buried. I did not have time to return it and it wasn't a huge deal for our purposes but if you are buying this box for display just keep that in mind.

What junk. I can understand it being cheaply made. But I should have heeded the reviews. They shipped them in big boxes with little protection. Being bounced around in shipping and corners were chipped and stain missing. Am I pissed, you bet. Reviews said it all, and I didn't listen. These boxes are junk, but I knew that for the price, but even junk deserves to arrive in one piece not damaged. Please people, don't buy. I can't even send them back, because they were needed ASAP to ship out of state. I tried my best to restain and use wood filler. How sad any company would ship their product this way. I bought 2 and both were this way. Oh well, you live and learn.

The first one I ordered arrived damaged. I’m getting a replacement.Aside from damage, I like it. It’s great for the price, as long as it’s intact.

My best friends dog passed away recently and she was going to have her cremated. What the vets office wanted for an ashes box was so very expensive! I searched and found this box for a very affordable price. In my opinion, it is nicer than the once offered by the vet, was much more affordable, and we received it in only a couple of days. I also ordered from Amazon personalized metal plate with the dogs name etc for a very low cost. Only spent about $30 for both on Amazon vs over $100 for the vet. Very satisfied!

These are a very modest urn for ashes to be buried at our local national veterans cemetery. No one likes to think about this subject but it is as much a part of life as any birth. These are a serious start to the end of life. It's comforting to know where your earthly remains will rest.

A little light weight but nice. Fit both my mom of 80lbs and my dad at 120 lbs. They wanted to be together.

The box has a lovely cherry finish and was perfect for my use. I am purchasing another one to use as a time capsule/memory box. The bottom has a screw to keep it securely closed.

Bought this for my father-in-laws ashes and before we could even get him in the box the sides were warping! I was extra careful in being sure that the climate wouldn’t have an impact on the product, as I live in Wisconsin and needed this in the middle of January. Because of our weather in January I had this delivered to my parents house so it could be brought in the house right away and out of the elements. The day before we were to have the service for my fil, my son noticed that the sides were all warping and looked so terrible we could not use it.On a positive note, I had no issues returning the product. Also, it came very nicely bubble wrapped. Thankfully, a fantastic funeral home near us was able to help us out with a product they sell.
