I’ve used this for making videos for my business sand or a great. It tracks you as you move. It makes your videos look authentic instead of just having a still camera.

First, I ordered white, and I received black. Not a huge deal, but I wanted the white one. Second, the tracking is great, but maybe a little too sensitive. It chooses when to be sensitive too. At times I walk in front and it follows me, and other times I walk in front and it decides that it wants to focus on someone in the background.Either way it does the job I want it to: hold the phone and follow my daughters where ever they decide to take the phone to talk to family. Paired with a tripod, and it does everything I need.

It needs a wider camera holder, I have to take my phone out of the case. So it limits my using this devise. But when I do. It is like I have a camera man! I don't use the remote, as I cant really see the 'shot' when I'm 15 feet from the camera. So it sounds like a good idea. but in reality, it isn't.

so it broke after a single use. returning if the replacement works well will update review but for 60+ bucks kinda lame. update set replace and this seems to be working consistently now

Not good tracking your face at times

The value you get for the price you pay is great! The tracking is on point and the face recognition is good. I purchased this product as an alternative to a more expensive brand and wasn't disappointed.

I purchased another brand it stoped charging a few week later. This one I have had for a month or so and I use it at least 3 times a week and it is amazing

The media could not be loaded.  I am really surprised how easy it was to set up this Smart Motion Tracking Phone Camera Mount. It is just a case of charging and then pressing the button on the back to turn it on.You are supplied with two different charging leads, one for the main unit and the other for the lightboards.The phone holder is easy to use and holds my smartphone in place securely. You can adjust the angle of the mount up or down as well as around in order to have your camera set up in the right position for your needs. The remote control is the only thing that requires a Bluetooth connection.The lightboards easily slot into position on each side of the phone mount. They are individually turned on and off with the button on the back of each light. There are three brightness levels so that you can adjust the light to enhance the image on your phone.When this mount is in use, there is a very slight, mechanical whirring sound, but it is not too obtrusive. The movement can be a little jumpy if you move too quickly as well and I have found that it sometimes picks up the movement from other people in the room, especially when they walk behind my chair when I am using this device.My granddaughter and her sister like to choreograph their own street dance routines and they often make short videos on their smart phones, which they then upload for their friends to watch. This device is definitely something that they would benefit from having for this purpose as it would mean they don’t have to stay in the same place to capture their images.I think that the pink colour of this motion mount and the hard plastic material is disappointing. It does not look or feel the best quality, but it is actually a great gadget that works effectively.

The media could not be loaded.  My son loves making youtube videos and he’s always having to position his phone and move it himself, this device is perfect for him to use as it makes it so much easier for him now to do his videos! This would also be ideal if you were going to be on a long video call as it would be hands-free.I’m really impressed with how the face tracking works and you don’t even need an app, it just works! The two lights provided have 3 different light settings so you can set them to what works best for you. It also comes with a remote control so you can take pictures from a distance. There is also a screw-hole underneath the device so you could attach this to a tripod if needed.The battery is rechargeable and lasts for several hours once charged. It comes with the cables required for charging, it did work straight out of the box, but we gave it a good charge anyway so it could work to its full potential.It would be good if there was an option of colours as my son isn’t so keen that it's pink, but as it’s only used at home it doesn’t matter too much.The current price for this item is £54.99. I do think this is very expensive, however, it does exactly what it says it does and the face tracking is very impressive. I think if you require this kind of thing a lot whether it be for live streams or work video calls etc… then it would be a good investment.

SummaryNice looking and very easy to use - would suit teens venturing into video making. I would note that it is not actually a tripod and has a cylindrical base with a screw hole underneath for mounting onto a tripod.Setting upIt really couldn't be easier to use. Straight out of the box and charge via the USB-C cable provided (not the micro USB as this is for charging the detachable lights). There is a light on the front of the unit to show that it is charging. Once the unit is charged, attach your phone by opening out the two clips and easing them apart to slip your phone in between.RemoteThe provided Bluetooth remote works well with my iPhone and is easy to connect and operate too.OperationSwitch on the device by long press on the one button on the base of the unit. Sit or stand in front of the unit with your face visible to the front of the unit. That is it - I found left/right tracking very good and with very little set up time. I have tried other (more expensive) gimbals on the market and they can be a bit complex to set up and use, but this one is very simple indeed.Lights,The detachable lights are functional and provide a choice of 3 colours but only one brightness level. They are charged sand controlled individually too. There is a micro USB cable provided and they had a charge on delivery so were ready to go. I noted that they also have a charge indicator (red LED within the case of the lamp).Value for moneyA fully automated hand held gimbal would be extremely expensive and this unit provides an entry level static unit that simply tracks your face. For around £50, I think this is good value and its' simplicity is a big plus for me.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m really quite impressed with this little gadget! The face tracking is much better than expected. I tend to do a lot of FaceTiming/ video calling and because of the 360 degree turning, it’s found itself centre piece on my kitchen island as it will keep up no matter where In the kitchen I am.Super easy to set up. Everything is plug and play and you can get it going straight out the box. No need to download an app etc.It is also sturdier than I had expected. It holds my large iPhone 14 pro max comfortably and with ease.I have however noticed that it gets a bit confused if you get too close to it but it seems to sort itself out quick enough.I haven’t had an issue with the tilt and it hasn’t felt as though the device will fall over.When on a video call, it turns pretty smoothly and there isn’t any jolting or sudden turning (I’ve done a video In the garden so you can see what the tracking and video would look like).The lights are quite bright as well. It’s nice they have added 3 different lighting options.All in all, I think this is a great product and I can’t seem to fault it.

The media could not be loaded.  I found this to be rather impressive considering it requires no setup, no software or apps, nothing. Simply take it out of the box, optionally attach the side lights and turn it on. It'll start tracking you right away.The device and both side lamps are individually rechargable via USB-C. The box contains two cables in order to charge everything but it had plenty of power to try it out straight from the box.The side lamps simply attach to the side of the main arm and each one has its own on/off button. Pressing the button will cycle between a bright white light, a warmer orange light and a combination of the two, before finally turning off.The arm itself does feel a little bit cheap, I was nervous the first time I raised it as it has 'notches' inside so you can aim it as high or low as you want. It doesn't have to just face straight forward. I have a large phone, the Samsung Note 20 Ultra with a case that has a built in kickstand so it's quite bulky. I was able to fit my phone into the mount no problem and it rotated freely without issue. It also held the weight fine and stayed at the angle I had placed it. Due to the size of my phone though I wouldn't be able to aim the camera down towards the ground simply because the phone is so tall and the bottom of it basically touches the base when it's in the mount.The AI is impressive. As mentioned earlier there is no setup required at all. Once you turn it on by holding the power button for 2 seconds it will start tracking you right away and does a really good job of it. Sometimes it does lose you if you go out of your way to dash around it but for normal speed movements it will stay focused on you. You can definitely hear the motor turning but I wouldn't say it's loud.Finally it does have a screw hole in the bottom so it can be placed on a tripod which is probably the best way to use it.Overall it's a great little face tracking mount if you need one. It's not cheap but you are paying for the AI that powers it along with the motor inside and the fact that it 'just works' is brilliant.
