Skin An Apothecary French Hair Paste

I have baby fine, long, straight hair and this stuff is a miracle fix for it-whether it's summer or winter. It makes my hair smooth and soft and it doesn't smell like anything besides a faint odor of what reminds me of candle wax....amazing product.12-2016 update to my original review. The stuff still works, but it has a much different consistency & smells like grapefruit/fruit now. I know it was unavailable for some time as the company couldn't get a specific ingredient so I think they have tweaked the formula to work around whatever was missing. I'll use the two jars I purchased thru the winter, as it still helps with static but I'm not thrilled with the change

UGH! Upon ordering this, I had heard so many good things about this!! Even Oprah was going on and on about it! When I got it and opened it, it had a very LIGHT scent...I like hair products to be scented. This had barely any scent at all so even though I used it, you can't smell anything but the shampoo. The directions seem a little odd. I'm instructed to use ONLY a TEASPOON and to massage into my scalp or if I want to use as a weekly deep conditioning thing, to put it in my hair, wrap it in a towel for a couple mins, then rinse off...I'm a pretty simple girl. I prefer the traditional conditioner where you put it in your hair, leave on a little, then wash off instead of walking around with a towel on, which I have yet to try. It has NO scent...can't get over this...for $25 too and yet no good smell left behind...flat out stinks...price, everything..didn't leave my hair soft, NOTHING. If anything my scalp feels dry and tight.
