Very surprised and pleased with the quality of this ipad pro 12.9 keyboard/case - I'm a power user, this product is an A+
My review is based on the following requirements I had: (1) a strong keyboard with real "action" and excellent responsiveness (2) stable in-place use on my lap while on a couch/etc, and (3) ability to use the ipad as it was intended when required, flat in my hands using the touchscreen keyboard. From a keyboard standpoint, I'm a keyboard "geek" and have vintage keyboards, new ones costing hundreds of dollars (yes they make them, strangely enough), different types of keyboard switches, etc. I touch-type at a fast rate and keyboards have to provide real depth, a click, and keep-up. When I bought this product, I had researched what was available for the 12.9 ipad pro (mine is the original ipad 12.9) and read reviews where people complained of the keyboard, stability, etc. I also noticed most did not fold-back so you could use the ipad pro as originally intended, purely as a tablet. I bought this product but had low expectations based on past experiences with other manufacturers on older ipads and the lower cost of this prouct. I expected the keyboard feel would not meet my goals but I'd give it a shot and stability issues. To my surprise, what I received was a high quality product with a fantastic keyboard that I could touch-type as fast as I wanted, a stable hinge system, and something that looked and felt professional and fitting of the ipad Pro. I have taken note of a few things here as I read the other reviews, so clearly the owner has to be thinking when they use a product like this. The ipad pro is is heavy and the keyboard case, being what you want-- a substantial stable product-- also has wait. So when you lift and move the ipad pro while in this case, put one hand on the ipad pro and other on the keyboard and lift together. This will prevent you from putting stress on the case. This is somewhat common sense when you use it, there are design constraints here that the manufacturer can't overcome, they are merging two products (keyboard, ipad pro) and you need to think about how you handle them together. Next, I'd guess that if you plan on removing the ipad from the keyboard case daily, maybe over time the plastic might wear-- I don't know, I haven't seen that, but it can happen with any case for any device. So this leads me to another point which is that I thought I'd want to remove this case frequently and what I found was I kept it on, despite the weight. Why? Because there was another hidden gem in this case, which is another picture they show in the listing-- having the ipad facing you with the keyboard behind it. What this does is hold the ipad at an angle to you while using it without the keyboard, but does so in an very stable fashion. So for example if you are on the couch and not using the keyboard , now the ipad stays in-place facing you at the perfect angle. Yes other non-keyboard cases have this capability but they tend to move around and unravel and they aren't as stable. This case is rock-solid when in this position, so now I find myself one-handing control and swiping of the ipad, when not using the keyboard, where before I needed two hands, one on the left to hold the ipad still, and on right for keyboard. Also the ipad pro can now be used with less eye strain as stays in the perfect position as I move around. All-and-all, the product was a real surprise. I can be a real critic of some of the low quality manufacturing occurring around the world to include China, but I can say that in this case, the product has exceeded expectations. Do be careful though as I noted earlier in how you handle it, there are only so many things a manufacturer can do to protect the product from rough handling. It's a heavy combination, so use your common sense and treat it, in combination, gently. Do not swing it around like your lenovo laptop, no ipad pro keyboard/case vendor can provide you that kind of experience due to the challenges and realities of combining a keyboard clamshell with the ipad pro.

Lenrich has integrity. A Great Keyboard + Case from a great company.
My second generation iPad Pro (Apple) keyboard case bit the dust several months ago. A friend helped me research replacement options. He found and suggested the Lenrich Keboard + Case as suitable for my older iPad. The Keyboard case arrived and I could not get it to work despite my careful reading of the instructions included with the item. I emailed the address listed on the instructions and within an hour someone responded and tried to help me troubleshoot solutions. Nothing worked but I was willing to continue crowd-sourcing assistance. (That means I was asking every millennial I knew for help!) In the meantime Lenrich contacted me that a new Keyboard + Case was on its way; coming from China it would take several weeks. Imagine my surprise when it arrived in roughly two weeks. This Keyboard case is a dream to use. The keyboard feels like a real keyboard and is very responsive. The iPad mounts easily and securely in its place and the screen pivots 180 degrees and folds in a way to just use the touch screen. I feel like I have a two-in-one computer. The case is a little heavier at 3 lbs. Adjustments must be made in the iPad keyboard settings (this is not mentioned in the user instructions). The instructions could be written in a clearer manner. When you shop be sure to pay match the Lenrich with the generation and year of your iPad. You will love this keyboard case as much as I do. The price is competitive and reasonable. And my experience demonstrates the company responsiveness and probity. They certainly acted with great integrity when they so quickly replaced the first iPad Pro keyboard.

Very Good Keyboard and Case
The Lenrich iPad pro 12.9 in. case and keyboard works well. It connects easily, and the iPad snaps into the case without any issue. It is important to remember to turn off the keyboard when you close your iPad to save the keyboard battery to prevent having to frequently charge it. The only drawback for this product is its weight. It is heavier than expected despite what other reviewers stated. It makes your iPad as heavy as any small PC but basically transforms your iPad into a PC. If you are looking for a strong protective case with a good keyboard, this is a good selection. If you are seeking something lightweight like the iPad folio keyboard, be aware that this is much heavier. It is a good buy for the money and works well.

Perfect for my needs
I LOVE this case! It’s built well, protects my iPad completely, looks nice and really meets our needs. I appreciate that it’s a hard surface, which makes it easy to write on when not in use, as my space is quite small. The keyboard is very responsive (when I remember to charge it), works just like a laptop. I love that I can turn the screen to the right it left. My hubby had a stroke about a year ago, so when I want to show him something, he can’t just come look. With this feature, I can turn it so he can see it easily! (Especially nice when new pics arrive of our grandkids or great grandkids!) Much better value for the money than the last one I bought (which I threw away)! If I ever need to replace it, I’ll come right back to this one!

It's a good cheap alternative for a iPad Pro case and keyboard.
For what it offers, it's cheap and offers decent quality. I can type comfortably with this case and keyboard design...but I have to note some nitpick moments. The bad: the charging port is to the front (closer to the user) rather than the back (away from the user), and the backlight only has RGB (manual alternating) and bluish white. There is a minor suggestion that there should be a reminder when the mousepad is disabled (there is no reminder) and the case design quality is questionable. The volume buttons are not easily press able (could have had bumps or something )and while my tablet fits perfectly, the concern is durability and the removal of the tablet. Also could have been a battery indicator. Despite all that... The good: it provides good value, keyboard is comfortable for typing, backlighting with adjustable brightness, the case looks reliable enough to protect it from scratches and shock damage (from bangs and certain drops). Despite the bad, 5 stars from me.

Great idea that was poorly executed - updated review
All of the comments about the case material attracting ugly marks is true. Your touch screen will be the cleanest thing about your tablet after enclosing it in this case. It is also very heavy as everyone describes in the reviews. I might have overlooked both of those difficulties since I was forewarned but after just a month the n key in the keyboard has failed and has to be pressed several times. With all of these unnecessary caveats the case is too expensive and not a good value. I hope other vendors see the value in the design and produce something equivalent without the above mentioned issues. **GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE** I added one star, from two to three because the seller absolutely stands behind this product and reached out after seeing my review to make things right. They also provided some insight into the weight, pointing out that the keyboard has to serve as a counterweight to the fairly heavy 2017 model iPad Pro in order for it not to tip backwards when in laptop mode. Overall if this item appeals to you, you can buy it with confidence knowing that if it doesn’t suit you the company stands fully behind it.

Very functional, seems solid.
Overall this seems to be a good keyboard and case. A couple of things I wish were different, first is there isn't some kind of clasp to keep the case closed. The case can slide sideways when closed and eventually expose your screen. Second is the way the tablet part is supported. My Jetech that I had for a Gen3 iPad used a slot in the keyboard with a support behind the tablet to hold it steady. This particular tablet holder opens like a laptop, but so far it has been ok. It wobbles when you select something from the screen of the iPad and I am just wondering if it will get loose over time. A lot of people are complaining about the weight. It is relatively heavy compared to some other cases especially when the iPad Pro is so light for its size. For me personally the weight does not matter that much. I have not had any issues with the keyboard. There is no lag when you are typing, having said this though if you haven't typed in awhile the key board goes "to sleep" to save on battery but quickly will start back up and reconnect with Bluetooth. I do not have an Apple pencil so I can't comment on the holder. It is a rubber cap covered hole on the right side of the case under the keyboard. Battery life seems to be good. I haven't recharged it yet and I have typed on it routinely for 3 days now. I have not turned the keyboard off and let it just "sleep." Overall I think this is a good case and keyboard. There are a few design issues that can make this a great case but I feel this is well worth the money I paid. I was debating between 4 and 5 stars but ultimately gave it 5 because the mild issues that I have with it are definitely not deal breakers.

AN HONEST REVIEW
So far, this is one of the best iPad Keyboard cases I’ve owned. However, it is to perfect. Let’s talk about the pros and cons. I have used this product for about 2 months now. I use it daily, aggressively putting it through its paces. I fully expected that the hinge would wear out and that I would have problems with battery life or other problems. I spent hours reading the good and bad reviews for this product. Like you, I found so many opposing opinions that I was exhausted trying to find the right product. Well, here are my observations: THE HINGE: - This is a sturdy Keyboard. I am cautious when changing the viewing positions but I change it regularly. I am constantly taking notes, watching video and doing other things that require viewing angle adjustments. I read reviews that complained that the hinge did not last. So far, the hinge on this product has held up well. I will keep my eye on this and update this review if needed. KEYBOARD ACTION: - This is a full function keyboard with multiple function keys that give the look and feel of using a laptop. The function keys assists with navigation, screen lighting adjustments, cut, copy, video/music playback, sound, and will instantly lock your screen. In addition, the Command, Option and Arrow Keys provides the familiar MacBook keyboard feel. I do have one complaint regarding this keyboard. Sometimes there is excessive keyboard latency. This can be very annoying. However, I am not noticing it now. Also, the keyboard disconnects its’ Bluetooth connection with my iPad if I stop typing for a relatively short period of time. I am sure that this is by design with the purpose of extending the keyboard battery life. But, this is a minor inconvenience since it easily reconnects when you press any key. You just have to wait a few seconds for it to connect. They should work to improve this function. BUILD QUALITY: - As I am sure you have already read from other reviews, this case is really heavy. No, I mean it is really really heavy! Many have complained about this. I disagree with those complaints. I want a keyboard case that will last and stand up to some abuse. This is a solid case that really feels rugged. In addition, it looks good. In fact, I wish the manufacturer would make the hinge even sturdier so that I can be confident that it will never break. I also feel that case design could be improved by using a more modern material that will not attract finger prints and may possibly provide a more appealing look to the finish. My previous keyboard was from Logitech. I like that keyboard so much that when my first one broke I went out and bought another one of the same style. However, this Keyboard Case is much more flexible and a lot cheaper! BATTERY LIFE: - There is not much to say about this. It was charged and working when it arrived two months ago. I charged it overnight only once in the last two months even though the battery had not drained. So really, I am not sure how long this will last before it needs to be charged. Perhaps I will test this out by using the keyboard until it dies, give it a full charge, and then see how long it takes to die again. I will try to report back with the results. CONCLUSION - As I said that the beginning, I have had many key board cases but this so far is the best. I don’t mind paying for a good product. I would rather pay more and get a very satisfying product than to get a good deal on something I will have to replace often. I am all about quality. But, when I can find good quality at a great price, I am all in. Stop shopping and go ahead and order this case. You will not regret it! And by the way, this is not a paid review. I bought it with my own money and really appreciate the workmanship.

Best one yet.
This case with keyboard is the best. I have purchased two other brands in the past 5 years. One major brand kept cracking and pieces falling off (replaced once under warranty and paid for the third one) finally switched to G & C but the keyboard will not lay flat as I sometimes need and does not swivel (they said that is not possible to make for my particular iPad). Purchased this one without expectations and - WOW!! It is great. Does everything I want (swivels and lays flat) and is strong and sturdy. Only thing is no backlit keyboard.

Great replacement for easily broken origami keyboard
Went through 2 of the genuine origami keyboards in 2 years. While this is more chunky and effectively turns the iPad into a little laptop, the keyboard is robust and has a holder for the pencil. Pairing was straight forward and battery life seems great. 360 rotation allows the pad to be still used as a pad, but with more of a surface experience.

Finally something that works with the IPad
Finally an after market Bluetooth keyboard compatible with the iPad. Connects quickly and makes for a sturdy cover.

3.5 Stars....But I love it! Anyways. read the reviews, they're spot on.
I bought this product because of the reviews and so I knew exactly what I was getting. Here are some things to consider: 1) No backlight keyboard. I knew this before purchasing, so no reason to mark it down a star. 2) It feels good. The weight really turns it into a laptop. 3) The hole for the apple pencil is sketch. I knew about this before buying but was still surprised that I couldn't take out my pencil easily. For this, I'll take off a star. 4) The keys on the keyboard feel a little strong around the edges...I want to take off half a star here. 5) Despite the above, it's a great product. I love it, so far. No other issues. Connection is great. Feels solid. It does make everything big and heavy, but what else would you expect? I bought this for work purposes, so that I could type properly without having to bring my laptop with me. And I got exactly what I needed.
