when will this be available again?

Just bought my second one last week, now I have one packed in my "camping / disaster plan / emergency preparedness" stuff and one I use for almost every day inside to light my bamboo incense charcoals, tons of other uses for them too besides the obvious. Just be careful when filling them or even using them indoors. never do it in small areas with no ventilation, and not for hours at a time.

On low setting. when filled properly, this stove can last for hundreds of times as a wind proof emergency fire starting method capable of even drying out small amounts of wet wood or fresh cut wood to get a bigger fire going in the worst of conditions. Doesn't work with regular butane in extreme cold from what I hear though, something to consider if you were thinking of getting one for hiking etc at high altitude or cold conditions I think you need a kind you pump to get the right pressure

With butane fuel. Same as the refillable lighters

When i fill it from a canister it only seems to burn for about 10 minutes.  am i refilling it wrong?  seems like it should hold more.

Place the whole thing into the freezer for an hour before you fill it, then use several different angles on the nozzle to get an angle where air escapes, but not liquid gas, you can smell the difference... when you get it right you should smell a similar smell to the air being released from a bike tire. make sure that you hold the unit not flat, but at a sort of 45 degree angle with the horseshoe side with the refill valve on the top most part of the unit. also, immediately before you start pushing the butane can, rotate the unit starting with the opposite end of the fuel horseshoe (the one that leads to the burner output) being the highest point upward, then slowly over about 5 seconds rotate the unit being careful not to let it go level until it reaches the refill valve being the highest point, then hold in that position as you fill it and once you hear the gas stop transferring, use a few quick depressions at different angles to top off. let the unit come to warm temperature before you use it, also if the unit continues to not fill completely then try using a safety pin or tack or small nail on the  refill valve just slightly (after rotating the unit as described to get the air to accumulate near the valve ) and try to get as much of the air to come out as you can without letting out the liquid gas that remains inside...

when using the stove, try adjusting the spring covering the air gap inside the stove to make the flame turn orangeish red instead of blue. thus simmer mode makes the stove last a lot longer, if the stove sputters, put a piece of gum or cardboard or something just an 1/8th inch thick {that isnt flammable) under the side opposite the flame control knob, and then next time you fill, try to get more of the air out of the unit by topping off etc. :)

and please dont smoke or refill indoors near anything burning or with pilot lights, refridgerators etc etc. best to fil outside.
