Good but there are better
I can't say much negative about this pedal but if I could do it again, I'd go with an Aguilar Tone Hammer simply because it has more tone shaping options.

Overrated? Overpriced? Hyped? The GOAT?
It's an Origin Effects pedal, you can expect amazing build quality and a huge hype around it. But how good it is doing what so many other pedals in the market are already doing? Well, it's great but not $500 great.Compared with SvPre, S300, and VT-Bass this pedal adds extra value. A cab sim on the DI output (that you can't disable for some reason) and a very good SVT-ish sound with a tube feeling that could be argued as the best compared with other pedals. But I don't believe that the difference with other pedals can justify up to x2.5 the price. It's an amazing pedal but not a WOW one. The EQ options are limited in my opinion and they fall short affecting the tone. The AMP EQ is just a nice try, and not a good one. And again, you can't disable the cab sim. This pedal looks amazing and I understand why is so appealing to many people but it does not perform like a $500 pedal. For me, it's not a keeper. The SVT emulators + cabs in my HX Stomp do the job amazingly well compared with the BassRig. $500 is a non-reasonable price for this pedal. If you have anything that does SVT tone do your homework about what you will get from the Super Vintage, because maybe you will be disappointed.
