I got this for a sort of craft project and not for use as trimmer line. But I am very pleased with the results of my use and when I run out of trimmer line for my Echo this stuff appears to be good. Very stout. If you were really curious, I made paddle and rod leashes for my fishing kayak. Find out how on a YouTube search. I picked this line because I could get it in a extra thickness and round not the star or other shapes with sharp edges that help to cut grass and weeds. I wanted the smooth round edges. Also was happy it came in a yellow color since it matches the other accessories in my kayak.Edit to add a photo
