AMERICAN CREWMen's Cologne, Eau de Toilette, 3.3 Fl Oz

Bought this because American Crew Nine was out of stock, I have to admit that I really like this cologne, it reminded me of something that I couldn’t quite grasp and it dawned on me that it has a hint of cloves in the fragrance. Last throughout the day and I will be keeping this as staple.

I sampled this product while at a chain barber shop and loved it. Didn't want to spend the extra $15 that they were selling it for so I decided to look on Amazon. Glad I was able to find it at such a cheaper price point.

This cologne is on the muskier, more savory end of the spectrum - elements of sandalwood, amber, citrus, clove, and patchoulli. Not flowerly light Aqua Di Gio or overpowering like Polo or Drakar; more of a less version of Tobbaco Vanilla by Tom Ford. Goes on strong initially, but disappates pretty quickly and lasts at a lower level (people need to be within 24" of you or less to pick up on it.) I am big, bearded, and outdoorsy and I seems to fit me just fine; I get compliments from the women who hug or lean into me.

Love this scent, so masculine. One has to use very little and it lasts forever. Bought several bottles to give away for X-Mas.

This stuff smells great. I tried a sample at a local salon but didn't buy at that time. The stylist told me it is named because 9 out of 10 women like the smell, which I verified in American Crew's marketing material. A few days passed, and I couldn't get the smell out of my mind. I checked to see if I could order through Amazon, and of course I could, so I did.The scent seems a perfect combination of sweet, woody, and spice that can be worn day or night, although it leads me to think of an evening scent more than daytime. It is both sophisticated and fun, not too young, not too old.I've amassed a collection of fragrance bottles over the years and smelled countless others while shopping, but this one somehow sticks out for me.

This was not good American Crew Americana! I love the American Crew classic fragrance and can't find any more unless I go on eBay. They charge you one hundred twenty dollars for 1.7 once of a bottle of American Crew fragrance when I used to pay thirty dollars or less, but I can't find it anywhere.

Hands-down this is one of the best colognes I’ve ever owned and the other one was the original American crew which I still love. I happen to be at a bank with my daughter and this lady said to me as I walk by damn you smell nice. And my daughter who is three years old at the time says he wear his cologne for the ladies LOL it was so cute and it was unexpected when she said that
