If I could give this item a ZERO rating, I would. Wolfgang Puck should be ashamed of himself for putting his name on such an awful piece of garbage. First the thing is made of cheap plastic, but I thought "give it a try" I used it 1 time.Cons1. The lid does not lock into place2. The bowl has no secure hold so it moves in the base3. The churn is held in place by the cheapest plastic and also does not lock, so it comes off while running4. 15 minutes into the process the motor died5. This seller doesn't give refundsProsIt's a pretty color so because of the lack of refund I now have a light Aqua $30 piece of landfill.***Update***2 days after posting this review, I did get a full refund, however it came from Amazon, not from the seller...Mr Puck should still be ashamed!

Worked perfect for me!
The media could not be loaded. I received this item in error. I had ordered another Wolfgang Puck product somewhere else and they sent me this by mistake. Well, they refunded me my money and told me to keep or donate this. After reading the reviews here I thought good thing it was free as it would probably be going in the trash. I decided to try it out today on Heath Bar Crunch from the Ben & Jerry's recipe book. It worked perfect and was soft serve in about 30-35 minutes. I could have let it go a little longer but didn't. The ice cream is firming up in the freezer right now and getting to eat the ice cream that was left was a treat!Note: I do own a Delonghi Gelato Maker but haven't used it in a long time as it is heavy and takes up a lot of room so I can't leave it on the counter. This one makes the same amount of ice cream and is easier to handle and store.

Everything said in the previous review is 100% correct...so I won't repeat it...Wolf Gang Puck should be ashamed to put his name on this piece of crap. Better to invest in a sturdy quality unit. If anyone knows of one, would appreciate hearing about it... Thanks!
