Too Many Tools Needed
After looking at the projects in the book, I found that too many tools [tube cutter, saw/miter, drills, etc] are needed. The book has loads of pictures but these projects are not what I was looking for with resin.

Misleading book description
The main reason I purchased this book was because the description read "jewelry makers will learn to fold and form resin into lightweight and dramatic cuffs … " Although there are good ideas in the book, there was NOTHING about folding and forming resin. I wanted to learn how to manipulate resin to create a free form bracelet, which is what I thought the book would include, since it mentioned "folding resin to make dramatic cuffs." The only folding in the book involved using polymer clay. I think the title of the book is misleading; it should have said Resin and Polymer Clay.

I love the ideas in this book! Creative and easily modifiable step-by-step directions.
Overall, this is a really cool book! Some reviews have been concerned with the number of materials needed, but once you understand the basics of epoxy resin and using silicon molds (something I'm new to), you can extrapolate and use what you have on hand. This book provides step-by-step directions to make several projects, and the author's intro specifically states that she hopes readers will mix & match techniques and ideas to create our own showpieces.I was particularly excited to try the Retro Targets Pendant, as using paper with resin isn't something I've tried before. The results are very cool!!! This book is worth a shot.

NOT SO SIMPLE
I purchased this book to accompany other resin based items as a Christmas present. Unfortunately although there is a lot of information it is not really a good starters guide. I ended up downloading information from Wiki how whcih was inexpensive and provided a good beginners guide.
