dont buy this drive if youre looking to play original Xbox games. you have to buy a Microsoft drive. or be able to flash their special software. if youre looking for storage for your 360 games this is for you.

Worked perfectly to fix my broken Xbox 360 S.
My Xbox 360 S hard drive became corrupt and it would not boot up. I think it was showing a E68 error or something like that. Bought this replacement hard drive, slid it into the hard drive slot on the Xbox. Booted up just fine after that. So saved me from throwing my 360 in the garbage.

No Backwards Compatibility
If you're just looking for an internal drive to play 360 games, then this works fine. But if you are trying to play original titles via backwards compatibility, you'll need to flash the proper partitions yourself, which can be a pain to do. If you already have a 2.5in SATA HDD sitting around, just get a chassis, considering you'll need to do the same work anyways.

Great
This works well and has little problems only issue is it is not Microsoft made.Why is a third party selling gear for microsoft system.Why cant microsoft own market and offer cheap easy to find parts for game systems.
