I bought my safety sock hoping that it would provide me with a safe and convenient option if my car ever broke down on the side of the road. I'm happy to say that this product does just that, you don't have to leave your car in an emergency with the safety sock, you simply roll down your window and apply it to your mirror. It's very bright, reflective, and is almost like putting a safety vest on your vehicle.Currently, I am working on a car that I'm not always sure will run throughout my test drives. I always keep a safety sock with me in case I get stuck on the side of the road. I would not leave the house without it in this car, because it pretty much blends into the side of the road and I feel like I cannot be seen in an emergency.

This product is very innovative! I often worry that when I pull off to the side of the road, my car will get slammed! The bright reflective material makes me feel like I'll be seen and safe in an emergency especially in the dark. I also love that I don't have to get out of my car to use it. I will always keep one in my glovebox.

I ordered these for our Bronco, a nice addition to a recovery kit, for when out and about. Figuring that the Bronco is based on the same Chassis as the Ford Ranger, I chose the 'SUV' size sock. It fits 'just' but not the whole mirror and I fear that with a light wind, even being cinched down it might get blown off.However when putting it on my Camaro, it fit just fine. So it will still get used. My recommendation would be to go for the bigger size and cinch it down to fit, rather than trying to cover a mirror with one that is too small.As for the product itself, it's well made, very bright and has multiple reflective stripes all over it, and then a hanging pennant at the bottom for additional visibility.Overall, a great piece of kit for an emergency, but make sure you purchase the largest one to make sure that it's going to fit over your mirror. The opening is very much large enough, but it wasn't long enough to cover the whole of the Bronco side mirror. It was too short, meaning that the cinch cord isn't able to grab on to the mirror.Otherwise, if that didn't happen, I would have given this product a 5 star rating!

This safety sock is very simple to use and provides a nice solution that doesn't require batteries. The large size fit the big side mirrors on our minivan very nicely. Even has a pull string to keep it secure. The safety sock folds up nicely to easily store in the vehicle. Now that I have one for the minivan I want to get more for our other vehicles.

The SafetySock will fit a wide variety of mirrors, and fits my OEM F150 non-tow mirrors just fine and my Ford Explorer mirrors.If you are going to be stuck on the side of the road, especially a highway, you need all the visibility you can get, because drivers are just not paying attention to people on the side. I recommend and rate 5 stars for easy to use, fits many different mirrors, and may just help keep you and your family safe.

I got this SAFETYSOCK Warning Safety Device - DOT Approved Reflective Emergency Roadside to add to my emergency kit in the car. Nobody really has flares any more. I think with hazard light and this SAFETYSOCK it should help other drivers see your disabled car and help prevent an accident. I told the guy at work who does all of our safety trainings about this and he thought it was a good idea. I will probably get more for the other cars in my household. It's always better to be safe than sorry, as they say.
