The smart brake sensing feature is legit!
The media could not be loaded. The smart brake sensing feature is legit - it actually brightens when I slow down or stop, just like a car brake light. That extra visibility gives me more confidence when riding on roads, especially at night or in low-light conditions. Drivers definitely notice me more now.The light is USB-C rechargeable, which is super convenient (finally no more micro-USB cables), and the battery life has been solid so far. I’ve done several multi-hour rides without needing a recharge.I attached a short video that shows the different light modes so you can see how it works in action. In the video, it’s hard to see, but there are 4 tiny blue LEDs that flash from time to time — these are the battery level indicators. Each dot represents 25% battery life, so when all four are flashing, it means the light is fully charged. A small but really useful feature! It’s also proven to be durable. I’ve ridden through rain and puddles, and the IPX6 waterproofing has held up perfectly.Overall, this is a bright, smart, and well-designed rear light. If you ride on streets or trails and want to boost your visibility and safety, this one’s absolutely worth picking up. I do wish it were a bit cheaper, though.

Great tail light at Night
UPDATE: Rockbros refunded my purchase price, and I will re-buy when they make a unit that has auto on/off and motion sensing in the daylight. Outside of that, it is a very nice unit. Small and bright, with a good mounting system. The brake light algorithm seems to work well.UPDATE: The Q5 is a Tail light. The one I have, does not have auto on/off, motion sensing in the daylight - despite what RockBros.says. In fact, if you very carefully read the PR info, it says this. The tail light has manual mode, strobe flash and contiguous in the daylight, not auto on/off motion sensing. The RockBros Q5 tail light Has several problems. There is no way to shut off the ambient light sensor for the blink and breath functions. This makes it useless in the daylight and only useful at night. So the kid riding to and from school does not have a tail light, which is why I bought a vibration sensing/auto shutoff light in the first place. The manual says that mode 3 and 4 (strobe blink and continuous) are useful in the daylight, but they do not have vibration sensing or auto shutoff. So to get into that mode you have to push the button through all the other modes, and same to shut it off - not very "smart".So, I took the unit apart (thus voiding the warranty) to see if I could cover up the ambient light sensor. That didn't work because they use the off cycle of all the LEDs to sense ambient light. So, I had to block all the LEDs to keep it blinking in the daylight.I asked this question before I bought it, and got an inexact answer back from someone who is not a native English speaker.

A Great Value for a Taillight
I purchased this taillight to augment the anemic flasher on my Garmin Varia Radar. The RockBros light is a great value and an excellent rear light. A full charge seems to last forever and the brake light function is appreciated by riding partners. The light is very bright and easily visible even on a sunny day. The light came with two mounts, a strap for the seat post or a clamp on mount for the seat rails. The light screws into either of them just like a bottle cap. The charging port is accessed when you unscrew the light from the mount. The strap mount works fine, but as a rule I just don't trust straps. I used the clamp mount, which installed easily and holds the light in place on the rails. The clamp was a slight bit loose on my rails, but a small bit of tape under the clamp fixed the issue. I've used the light for about 1500 miles on gravel and trails with no issues. Taillights are a simple bit of kit, but I really appreciate the added visibility, both day and night. Hard to beat the value and function with this light.

Works great.
This is a review after owning the lamp for 1 year. It's held up well to all weather conditions and still performs like new.I did put a little anti-seize on the threads because it's made from aluminum. However I don't see any corrosion after a year.I like the auto brake light, and auto-off function. It's small and was very easy to install. If there was one thing I would change it would be to change the screw-fit to a bayonet fitting. This would speed up taking it off and on for charging.

Well designed taillight
This is the best taillight I’ve come across. It’s made of metal-not plastic. It screws securely to the rods under the bike seat or it will “bungee” to the seat tube. The light itself unscrews to recharge and seems to hold a charge for a good amount of time. It offers a variety of blink settings. I particularly like the charge level indicator- four tiny blue lights around the center of the lens that go out one at a time as the level decreases. It is very bright and easily seen in daylight. I would buy this light again.

Super Aero and well done
I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It's incredibly aero and sleek - with no extra space taken. It can actually be mounted upside down from how it's shown in the product photos to make it even more aero and sleek - essentially hugging the bottom of the seat. It seems to work well. I can't speak to the brake light function, as it's very hard for me to watch my own tail- but it seems to work well otherwise.

Essential tail light for Commuters
Nice little light. I've been wanting a under seat rear light for awhile and this fits the bill: compact, usb-c charging, reasonable price. A few wishes for the future: hope they make a brighter version and I hope it lasts for a least a couple of year. Highly recommended
