Too thin. As you’re working with it it rips. Not enough glue

Good floral tape, does what I want it to
I'm actually using this to cover the wire arms of some Halloween ghosts I'm making. Stays on pretty good, I'll be covering the arms in felt or fabric, but I wanted to hide the wires first so they don't poke through.
