lets start with the elephant in the room - It says 4K on the box, it may decode 4K video , but the best I could get on the display side was 1080 - which for my purpose (turning a portable tv into a smart tv) would have sufficed.Wifi setup was easy , DVB-T2 tuner was very sensitive (picked up weak signals well). The menu suggests that bluetooth was available but turned off - so I turned it on - nothing happened , no extra menu. On the sattelite side it could steer my dish (DISEQC 1.2/3) but I saw no USALS menuA Number of core UK television apps were loaded & verified :BBC IPlayer - worked from Play StoreITV Hub - Blocked on play store - loaded with aptoide - updated with play store - workedUKTV loaded from Play storemy5 loaded from play store after a few attemptsChannel4 - loaded from aptoideBBC Sounds - loaded from play storeDI.fm - loaded after a long time from play storeSo with all the "key" apps working I left it running overnight - and all seeemed good - until I turned it off.When I switched it back on, it went straight into TV modeI pressed menu - the clock had reset to 1970 , the menu "framework" appeared for 2-3 seconds with no menu options - then it went back to TV againDespite everything I tried I have not been able to run any apps - its locked in tv / radio mode and there appears to be no way to get into any setup or factory reset (I did manage to get it into safe mode and should have just wiped it then - but I was keen to see if I could restore it to a working conditionSo as a 1 time programmable set top box with no android - it fitted the bill - but channels change! and I wanted Apps - this simply cannot cut the ice. I was hoping this would supersede my mecool Kiii Pro in the camper van - not a chance - a complete bag of nails in less than 72 hoursSending it back and will have to bite the bullet and by a mecool K7I wasted time, money and effort on this so you (hopefully) wont have to !! - avoid this like the plague

Cheap, very slow and remote doesn't work.

What l like about this item is that you will never believe what a small product like that does until when you started watching

Got power on and displayed on the TV but it kept freezing at the same point during the install process (Android Icon buffering). I followed the instructions to the letter. Myself and a friend tried at least ten times. Sent it back.

Picture quality no good and remote control is useless.
