You won't be sorry.
This replaces a 500 watt halogen light in my 28000 gallon black gunite pool. I was worried that it was not bright enough but it is every bit as bright as the halogen flood it replaced. And the color is bright white and perfect.If I have any concerns it is very directional and looks a bit beamy compared to the flood light. But that is only a minor issue and I look forward to not having to change it again for many years.

Still a good product, and it does provide much needed light ...
This lamp was advertised as a replacement for up to a 500 watt traditional bulb. I think that might be a bit of a stretch. It certainly does provide "White" light, and I am sure at a reduced operating cost. My expectation was for the amount of light to be as consistent as the previous lamp had been, and this LED just does not seem to reach that light level. Still a good product, and it does provide much needed light into our pool.

Love it!
Love it. Ran it all summer in our in ground 21,000 gallon pool without a hitch. Emits a nice white light as opposed to the yellow of the conventional flood.
