This GRAYL replacement filter cartridge is just as fantastic as the original that came with my filter water bottle. I've used my GRAYL bottle on countless hikes, camping trips, and even in places where tap water was questionable, and it's never let me down. Replacing the filter was a breeze – it literally took seconds. Knowing that I have this clean and effective filter gives me such peace of mind. I can confidently drink from almost any water source knowing that viruses, bacteria, protozoa, and even heavy metals are being filtered out. The water tastes great too, with no weird aftertaste or chlorine smell. If you own a GRAYL, having a spare filter cartridge on hand is essential. Don't wait until you're out in the wilderness to realize you need a new one! This replacement cartridge is a small price to pay for the assurance of clean, safe drinking water wherever you go. Good to have a few of these on hand with world situation. These filter anything and everything from any questionable water source. They work so good I actually bought 2 titanium ultrapress @$200 each. They design is so good so u can use with minimal effort. There expensive but a very necessary thing for shtf situations. These are built to last years of use and are extremely portable. These filters are the best filters on the market in my opinion and they do fit ultrapress. Small compact filters to replace you dead filter on ultrapress. Very nice to have. Happy customer 😀

I bought my Grayl™ Ultrapress shortly after they first came out (yeah, a long time ago) after reading a very positive review in Recoil Off Grid ™ magazine. They included a copy of the lab report on water quality. It read as good (if not slightly better) than local source supplies. Initially, I purchased it as a "just in case" tool. However, I spent a lot of time all over the U.S. and, sometimes, overseas, where the water may be coming from a ROWPU. Even in the U.S. you can find some sketchy, bad tasting (at least to my palette) water supplies. So after a bout with stomach upset while travelling, I began carrying the Grayl™ on stateside trips too. I would even use it for hotel faucets, and contractor supplies and the water usually tasted better and I felt better knowing that the water I was drinking would not come back to haunt me. Yeah, sometimes I would get a few sideways glances but that didn't bother me. I just keep buying replacement filters every so often and maintain it well and it just keeps me safe. Thanks, Grayl™.

Done the job

As a water industry professional, I am fairly picky about my water treatment systems. I picked this one because it removes protazoa and viruses in addition to bacteria (most backpacking filters just remove bacteria, and are not necessarily safe unless you have pristine sources). The inclusion of the additional treatment systems is very reassuring and I have used this filter all over the world to produce safe drinking water from international taps and backcountry rivers (even muddy ones). My only complaint is it wears out much faster than the reported number of cycles. I can only use if for about one trip (up to 10 days) before it wears out. If you are trying to prolong the life of it between short trips, make sure you store it with all the parts separated so it can completely dry, or it will mold. For me though the cost of rebuying the filter for every trip is well worth the security of having clean drinking water where ever I go. I highly recommend this product, just wanted to be open about its limitations.

Die Ersatzkartuschen passen, die Filterleistung des Grayl ist großartig. Natürlich gibt es leichtere Filtersysteme die sich ohne Kraftaufwand bedienen lassen aber die filtern weniger... Mit dem Grayl habe ich bisher immer ein gutes, sicheres Gefühl gehabt.

Well this bit of kit is awesome, Hey this will filter bacteria viruses and all your little nasties in the water however if you're using it for tap water it might let some of the fluoride get through but will take out all the heavy metals and much more and we'll allow all the good minerals to stay in there. Plus it has a 10 year shelf life in the packet and three years if it's being used now and again unless it takes not 10 seconds but 25 seconds to push down and filter. And apparently it can last up to three freezers if it's left in your car or your camping and it freezes any more questions just ask
