These lamps are GREAT!! I looked through tons of options on several sites and this was the best option that I found for a warm (but not overbearing, see-thru or too solid) lamp shade color, the black base we were looking for to match our furniture, not too tall for the height of our nightstands/backboard, and easy on/off pull cord, and the perfect amount of light (and comes with light bulbs which never happens)...my bf likes dim light, but I like a bit more, this was the perfect balance of both. AND I wasn't even looking for it, but a USB port for charging our phones overnight! Seriously, you can't find a better lamp for the price, I thought at such a low price that it may not be the best quality, but I was pleasantly surprised. Simple, modern, lovely.

Overall, a great little lamp. Stylish looking -- not overpoweringly bright as the shade tames it a bit. Works well next to my bed as a reading light, something I can use when I do that want my bright, hit ceiling fixture on in the evenings and into the night.IMHO the lamp and shade look to be a bit darker hue [when lamp is turned on] compared to what's seen in the picture (i.e. it's not as bright yellow-looking).LED bulb doesn't emit heat like a regular old lamp, which is really nice. Sets up in less than two minutes. And the USB plug is a nice feature, especially for those with few outlets.

I use it as a bedside lamp. The light is amazingly bright...would think that the 9watt led bulb is a 60 w incandescent bulb just to look at it. Great look to it. Like the little pull chain. The USB charging port is also a nice feature. Far exceeded my expectations for functionality and appearance, and expectations were high to begin with from the picture and description. One suggestion....for those of us who are literate, but don't read instructions, : ) the graphic of setting it up is confusing...it looks like the shade would sit on top of the bulb, unless you look closely at the thin outline of where the shade sits on the base...I had it turned upside down. Finally read the simple instructions, and saw what I I was doing wrong. Make the base lines of the bottom of the shade more prominent in the shade/base graphic...Thanks for a great product. !!!

Such a cute, stylish little lamp! Had it delivered to the office, hooked it up and it looks great! I like it where it is so I'll be keeping this one and then ordering 2 more for home (1 for my desk and 1 next to the bed)! I waited a month or 2 for these to come in and it was definitely worth the wait. I love the little pull chain and the USB port is great!They could be cheaper but they do come with an LED bulb so I guess that's worth it.Also- I contacted Brightech before these came in stock again at amazon with a couple questions. They were quick to respond and were super helpful. Great job guys!Edit: I’ve had this for almost 2 years now. I love it. I put in a color led bulb and change the color every once in awhile. Still going strong. These are much cheaper now than when I bought mine- as of right now it’s $15 cheaper. Such a great little lamp.

The lamps are very pretty and nicely small for night table but the light is too bright in my opinion for night light.I ordered 2 lamps. One for my night table and one gave to my son. He did not comment. I think he placed it in his LR.The desk lamps I have ordered initially one for a nephew , he loved it and I had to order two more for him. He loves them as they are very functional and especially that they can charge their cell phones by placing them on top without plugging them in.

We chose this model over the countless similar ones because of the pull chain (rather than a cord switch) and the USB charging port.I ordered two, one for each side of the bed. I measured out the size before ordering so I knew that these were small. Definitely best for a desk or bedside tables. The included bulbs do light up a fair amount of the room, though we intend to use them mostly as reading lights.Here's some notes about the product: - Ours came with the pull chain (Mar, 2018) - The bulb included is a soft, clean white light, perfect for low-level lighting, though you can replace the bulb with anything up to 60W - I have tested each lamp's USB charging port and they work just fine--though they don't support fast-charging - They look pretty nice, for the price (see attached picture) - The only (potential) drawback is that the USB port and the wire are on adjacent sides of the base, and not opposite, which means if you want the USB port to face front, you'll see the wire coming out of the side of the base--wasn't enough for me to deduct a star.

You have to screw the shade on to the the plastic fixture which holds the light bulb collar. This fixture is installed into the base via some metal stand. One light twist as you try to install the light shade and the metal stand is completely loosened from the base with no way to tighten it, and although this avoidable if you are super gentle and careful, the metal stand will still be torqued from the base every time you pull on the chain to turn the light on. Overpriced garbage.

I bought two of these lamps about 4 years ago. They worked fine up until this year. The USB plug stopped working on one about 6 months ago, then the second USB went out a few weeks ago.Then, just a couple of days ago I was awakened by the sound of a loud POP. I fumbled around on my nightstand wondering what had fallen. My hand landed on the base of the lamp and it was HOT. I smelled ozone and realized the lamp had gone KAPOW while I slept. I immediately unplugged it from the wall, not wanting to burn to death in my sleep and all.The lamp has been put down and I’m on the hunt for one that won’t spontaneously combust after a few years.

I like the small footprint, the shade makes the light pleasantly warm, and the pull chain is a nice touch! Can't speak for longevity as i just received it.

Really nice warm light, good for reading. I only wish that the bottom was a little heavier or had some grip, but that’s an easy fix. It tends to move when plugging something in to the USB port.

Great little lamp. Bought for my mother for beside her bed. The lamp shade is a bit wobbly because of the way it just sits under the bulb but other than that, great purchase
