******PERFECT FOR MAKING ROD LOCKER FISHING ROD HOLDERS FOR YOUR BASS BOAT******
I used these HDPE sheets to make custom fishing rod holders inside my rod locker box. I own a 96 Stratos bass boat that did not come with any kind of rod holders in the rod locker compartment. I found several pre-made rod holders on the internet but when I clicked on the price I nearly wet my pants.......cheapest one I found was $189.99 plus shipping!!!! I finally found an article on the internet the other day where another brilliant fisherman used material like a cutting board to make his own........and let me tell ya, it worked perfect and it looks professional {not some kinda mickey mouse crap}!!The one I made can hold 10 rods & reels without any of them getting a single scratch. I first used cardboard as a template then I traced my design on to the plastic material. A fine tooth jig saw blade cuts thru this stuff easy, but does take some time due to the precise angles. I put pieces of fuzzy Velcro where the butt of the rod sits along with short pieces of elastic cord. After securing this piece in my rod locker, I went to a local sporting goods store and purchased 10 golf club bag tubes. I had the perfect size circle door knob drill bit so that cutting part went faster. After securing the front section that holds the rod tips........I now have a custom rod locker organizer for a total cost of about $75.00 and that's figuring in any labor cost!! Saved ALOT of $$$$$$$$.

The thickness is very important to me
The thickness is very important to me I order 12"x24" x1" the majority of buyer complain of the size, you want a custom size than pay the price. The thickness was spot on 1 inch exactly. I always order bigger than I need saves me a lot of headache of reordering again. The item is excellent even if there is scratches I plane it down., Think of it this way when you but lumber does it come to the size that is stated,no. The seller to me is number one , very good product, fast shipping. I personally recommend this company I will be buy more item from this seller :)

Well made, but be aware that dismenions are short 1/4 inch
I got the HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Sheet, Opaque Off-White, Standard Tolerance, ASTM D4976-245, 0.375" Thickness, 12" Width, 24" Length and it's exactly what I needed for some table saw jigs miter slots that I will be making.Product is sturdy and feels very well made. The only downside, as others has pointed out is that the measurements are 1/4 inch short on all sides, so you dont get what you are paying for or described, but it still will suit my use.

Not perfect dimensions, but great deal.
Ordered the 1" x 12" x 24" sheet. Far from perfect cuts, but ok for the price. Locally, these are way, way more expensive. Therefore, Im ok with it being short by 1/4" in length and width. Also, one edge is not even cut straight. No worries. At this price, its still a great deal. Seriously, if you planned on using every single square inch of the sheet and then being shorted 1/4" inch ruined your project, then really its your fault. Im just saying, you always have to account for your mis-cuts, loss from blade kerf, etc. You should always allow yourself a minimum of 10% loss when estimating the material needed. If you are doing something very intricate with difficult and complex cutting/working, then at least 25% extra should be ordered. If you needed 12" x 24" for your design, then you should be getting larger and cutting to size. Realize, this is a raw material. You will have to make it into a finished product and that will involve loss of material.Having said that, this is a great material to work with. It cuts very easy and fairly clean. The material does not melt when using a power saw. Holes drill very clean. If you will be screwing into this, make sure to pre-drill with the right sized drill bit.

Good stuff
A little pricy but you get what you pay for. I used my 3/8’s inch HDPE as a base under a pool springboard where the old board had loosened and made a divot in the concrete. After epoxying new studs in the concrete, I cut the HDPE to size, drilled it for the anchors and placed the panel underneath between the spring and concrete. It has held up flawlessly and has brought the board back onto the correct plane and prevents any further damage to the concrete underneath and the inevitable chafing to the spring which results in corrosion.

Great Product
I use this for my en plein air oil painting set. The plastic cuts like butter with a table saw and cleans well. Metal painting knives can scratch it, but it cleans up so well and easily, that's not an issue. It's also lightweight compared to glass.

Very impressed!
My plan was to use the HDPE for a new bed board for my Woodmaster molding machine. Using HDPE for making your own jigs in woodworking is superior to other materials in many ways. It cuts easily with a table saw, band saw, router and you can drill the cleanest holes ever. Shipping was very speedy and the packaging was very good and undamaged. The HDPE was in excellent condition and within the correct size tolerances as advertized. I saved about $120.00 by using this to fabricate my own bed board. I will definitely order more for my future needs from this company through Amazon.
