I knew these were not going to be amazing heads or anything close to it
I knew these were not going to be amazing heads or anything close to it, but I would agree with other reviews that they are better than expected. Personally I would not use these heads for anything other than practice heads/breakable head. I bought these heads to put on a set that I am selling cheap. Kick and snare were pretty decent, the toms were very frail in opinion, but if you can play moderately hard not a huge issue. I would also agree that they make for some really good resonate heads. If i were to use these in any application other than practice I would use them as resonant heads (Aside from Kick/Snare). I gave four starts for shipping fast and being the exact quality I expected. I left a star out just so readers would be able to understand this is not what a intermediate/pro or in between player would like to put on their drums. Beginners or practice sets I say great buy for the cheap.

Very happy with these heads!
I bought these heads to use as resonant heads on a vintage Tama Royalstar I am restoring. For resonant heads I believe single ply are the best for many reasons. Among them is the fact that you do not need the strength of two ply heads. On this set they tuned very easily and sound very good. I don't know how they would sound as batter heads but for batters I would go two ply and likely go Remo or Evans anyway. I think there are a lot of people out there who never change their resonant heads because they never strike them but they do become stretched just like the batter heads, though they do last longer than the resonant heads. If you're wondering why these are so cheap the answer is in the fact that they are made in Taiwan. I'd prefer they were made here in the USA but for the price I'm just happy they are not made in China. That said, if you need some resonant heads and don't want to spend a lot I think they work great.

For the price these seem to be fine. I got a set of GAMMON PERCUSSION drums ...
For the price these seem to be fine. I got a set of GAMMON PERCUSSION drums at the thrift store for $60, but the heads were bad or missing, so I replaced with these. I have a Tama set that I put Remo Fiberskyn heads on as my primary kit. I was either going to sell this set of set them for the times I need the Grateful Dead two drummer effect. Either way these heads are good enough to do the job.

For the price, very good
I heard good things, so since I was selling the drums, I gave these a try. I didn't expect they would sound like Evans Pinstripes, and they don't, but, they really have a pretty good sound. They tune easily, seat well, and for the price, they sound great! Pretty shocking really. I've spent allot more money on heads that sounded much worse. Good bounce, good sound, and strong. I'm not sure I'd buy these for the studio, but you could do ALLOT worse, and for a allot more money. I bought another set as back up heads to my touring set. Nice deal, well done!

They are OK
Got these to replace my VERY old Remo Soundmaster Heavy coated heads and my stock bass head. The bass sounds good, the snare sounds alright, but the toms sound absolutely horrible. Could not get them in tune for anything. I dont know if it is because they are one-ply or if they just suck. They make my Pearl Exports sound like a First Act Walmart kit. I ended up putting the old Remos back on and putting Attack heads on the resonant side. I honestly do not understand how these have gotten such good reviews on sites like MF.Overall Im glad I got these. I needed new res heads anyway. And my bass is a lot punchier now. For the price these are a steal.

Amazing Price, even better sound
Love these heads, way cheaper than Evan's or Remo. Mostly the reason I bought these were because kick drum heads alone are normally around 35-50$, and this set comes with all the heads you need for the same price. They all have a great low sound, definantly buy!!

Sounds Okay
I purchased these to replace the resonate heads that were cut on my sons drums. I bought these because of the price. The product by far exceeds the cost. I would purchase these again but only for resonate heads.

Quality
They are great heads. i didn't give them the full five stars because of the snare head. The snare head broke. The sound is amazing though.
