Good quality but hard to insert into outlet
This is a good quality cord, and heavy duty, but its super hard to insert into the generator outlet. You really have to force it upward into the outlet to be able to twist and lock it. It so hard to do, that I just decided to permanently plug it into the outlet box and let it hang down. I dont want to be fumbling around in the dark when its 30 below, and these constant attempts to insert it put more and more wear on the cord connector and outlet box.

Fantastic for what it does
Perfect for a transfer switch when all you have is a solar generator that puts out 120. Obviously you can’t use it for something that requires 240. Basically ties the 2 L1 and L2 together.

Overpriced
Well made and durable but priced very high for what it is, Especially when compared to other adapters

Works great to connect my Honda EU2000i to my Reliance Controls generator transfer panel - consider the dongle version instead
I bought this adapter to allow me to use my Honda EU2000i inverter generator with my Reliance Controls generator transfer panel (which expects a split phase 240v generator). Two very important notes if you use this with a generator panel as I do:1. If you have anything that is a 240v load on your transfer panel, it won't work. There won't be any power to 240v devices (things that have the double wide circuit breakers).2. This device is not UL rated and could be dangerous in at least one situation. If you have any "shared neutral" circuits (Multiwire Branch Circuits) then it is possible that by feeding both off the same in-phase 120v generator that you could overload the neutral wire. In my case, I made sure not to wire any shared neutral circuits to my generator transfer panel, plus, from a practical standpoint, my EU2000i generator can only do 1600 watts continuous and so it can only barely over-stress a 14 gauge wire (15 amp circuit). Now if I parallel two EU2000i's that is a different story. So my installation and usage is safe, but you need to evaluate this for yourself in your situation. It is also worth calling out that this does not quite 100% fit in my Reliance Controls power inlet connector as well as I would like. I was thinking of using it direct on the L14-30 connector on the side of my house and building an L5-30 cable to go to my generator. Instead, I am using the short L14-30 cord that came with the transfer panel and using this adapter on the generator end. This is less optimal since I want to build a longer extension cord and doing it with four conductors vs. three is a waste, but more importantly, I don't like the stress it puts mechanically on the generator plug.To do it over again, I would have bought this one: (the dongle version of the same thing I think) AC Connector [L530L1430-018] 1.5FT STW 10/3 L5-30P 3Prong 30Amp Locking Plug to L14-30R 30Amp 125/250Volt 4Prong Locking Female (Hots bridged)

Perfect for my Honda EU3000
It fit like a glove and had my entire house"(minus the a/c unit) running through it. Glad I had it.

Works flawlessly
Purchase this product a couple months ago. Two weeks later there was a mayor blackout for the whole island of Puerto Rico for nearly 3 days. Used the product for 3 days constantly and works perfect. I've already installed in my home a Reliance Easy/Tran transfer switch model number CSR302. This adapter fit inside the transfer including the extension plug. The advantage with this transfer is that all the connections stay inside the transfer switch without worrying about rain or humidity because it makes a weatherproof housing. It worked flawlessly with my 2300 watts Ryobi inverter generator. The generator turns on all my home lights (led bulbs) , 4 ceiling fans, 2 TV's, 1 freezer (energy saver) and 1 refrigerator (with inverter motor). The generator works for an average of 8 to 10 hours a day with 1 galon of gas. I use a heavy duty contractor grade 10 gauge extension cord (10/3 awg). Just remember to turn off all your 240 volts breakers. This is the easiest way to provide electricity to both breaker panel legs.

Great little unit.
I use this to provide power from my EcoFlow Delta 2 (solar) generator to my Reliance Transfer Switch; works great! Secure fitting and seems of high quality. It is simple and works.

Great addition to my set up
Awesome way to send power into house when the power is out. Adapter allows me to use my generator to partially power home.

High Quality Adapter
Well made. And, it is bridged so both legs are live on the L14-30 side.

Works but gets warm.
Running almost 30amps for 10 minutes my 100 foot extension cord didn't heat up at all but this thing sure did. Not sure if I would trust it for hours.

Perfect Size, Twist Locks, Quality
This plug was exactly what I needed so that I could use my smaller 110v inverter generator for household backup; saves me lug’n out my large generator when electricity demand is low!I Received this plug exactly when it was promised...considering it shipped from the USA to me in Canada, I was impressed. This plug DOES lock into place as designed. My transfer plug faces downward toward the ground, so making it ‘lock’ was absolutely necessary. I believe I read on another review that someone else was unsuccessful in locking this adapter; not my case! Just make sure it’s fully inserted.. I had trouble at first, then it popped all the way in place and I was able to twist-lock!Great quality.

Works with AC200MAX
The reason why I purchased this was Bluetti AC200MAX's 30amp outlet is not compatible with a normal generator extension cord. It works nicely!
