Great value for the money, and a great light regardless!
I am a retired airline pilot and a former SWAT officer- both of my careers required solid, dependable lights, which could easily be the difference between life and death. I own quite a few high-end flashlights, and to be honest they have become something of a hobby- I lived in northern Alaska for 9 years, where nearly half of the year is dark, and flashlights are a must. While this light is not a competitor for a Streamlight or Surefire tactical light, it isn't as far off as you would expect- it is surprisingly bright, includes a low (I'd call it "medium" setting, for battery conservation) setting and a strobe setting, has a charge function that does not require disassembly of the light or removal of the battery, includes a spare battery anyway, and a lanyard, as well as a mount designed for a bicycle, I imagine. I modified it quite easily for use in my truck. The light is well built, out of aircraft grade aluminum, has a focus ring that also extrudes a fairly sharp, toothed leading edge- the ring around the lens itself becomes something like a saw blade, useful for defense purposes, as a striking tool. The tail cap unscrews to reveal two small wire electrodes.. Press a button, and small electrical arc forms between them. Stick a piece of paper or cardboard or bark, etc, between them and it will ignite it, very quickly. The light switch is a small metal button on the side of the body. Press it to turn the light on high, then cycle through medium and strobe to off. If you pause on any light setting for a few seconds, it will cycle directly to off on the next press. The switch for the fire starter is separate and is covered by the tail piece, so that it cannot be accidentally activated. You have to remove the tail piece to access the switch or the electrodes for the fire starter. The light uses one 18650 rechargeable battery, and you receive two, which is nice. Longevity is amazing- on the lower setting, it seems to run forever- it lasted longer than my interest in observing it did. On high, it lasted about 5 hours, constant on. It recharged completely in about an hour and fifteen minutes.Especially considering the price, this is an amazing light.

Heavy Duty light and Arc lighter
I really like this led flashlight & Arc lighter. It's heavy duty with adjustable light coverage. It even has this jagged collar that rises into place when you twist the adjustment collar to zoom which is great for self defense or breaking a car window in emergency situations. The Arc lighter works great even in windy conditions. The button to activate the lighter is hard to see in low light conditions but has a raised power symbol you can feel in the dark. The flashlight comes with 2 re-chargeable batteries, a normal AC adapter as well as a 12V cigarette lighter adapter. The power port is NOT a USB port so you have to use one of the included chargers. That also means you cannot use this flashlight to power other devices as a back up power bank like other flashlights you can find online. The cap that covers the lighter is a little hard to remove but adding a little lip balm helps keep the threads lubricated. The little silicone Cover for the power port is attached to an O-ring that wraps around the flashlight body feels real flimsy and always moves around and uncovers the power port when using the light. I have resorted to using electrical tape to keep the Cover in place. The light switch is very sensitive and switches between the 3 lighting modes (bright, low light & flashing) when you least expect it so just be aware.Overall the flashlight and the lighter works great around home, in the car and for camping. It's just a little too big to be used as an EDC source of light or fire starting.

The flashlight for the James Bond in all of us
This is the flashlight that M might had over to James Bond. For that reason, I approve of this for those of us guys who haven't quite grown up.After all, you not only have the innocent looking flashlight functional, you can also screw forward the ring on the front and you've got a sharp edge sawtooth banger that leave it's mark if you wind-up having to defend yourself. Not only that if you get lost in the wilderness you can start a little fire with a widget that lets loose a spark that with some patience can start a campfire. As for me, I find it hugely bright light bean (powered by those wonderful oddball Chinese rechargeable Lithium Ions it comes with) to be bright enough under the sink garbage disposal maintenance as well as changing the fuse in my car after dark.

This torch is awesome, made of high quality metal and has a good quality feel to it. The light is extremely bright and has options to pinpoint it as well as a wide area beam. The price was great considering it came with two batteries and a charger. I highly recommend this light and have no negative complaints about it.

It works but is not my favorite light nor lighter.
It works as advertised but the spark is much weaker than a Tesla lighter. The arc points are bendable wire so you can adjust the arc width but they are beginning to pit already. The Tesla has carbon contacts. You can easily start a fire with it though. The light is an annoying 3-mode one that makes you cycle through to get to the mode you want. It would be better to have just high/low and to default back to high if the light is left off for 3 seconds or so.

The Perfect flashlight
This is a very nice flashlight, probably one of the best I have ever used. It is unique and solid with a waterproof feature. I really love the design, although my son is always attracted to it. You could always turn the flashlight and use the water from the faucet to wash its lighting heads anytime you want, and the light will still be shining bright. I will highly recommend this product.
