Bought these to replace what I thought were standard old speakers in my 20 year old mx5. Turned out that the speakers already in the car were some JVC dual cone speakers, so I was a bit worried these wouldn't offer any benefit, since they'd clearly already been upgraded. I needn't have worried! These are fantastic, the depth and quality of sound is brilliant, they are a huge improvement over the previous speakers and have brought both the radio and cd's back to life. Really, really happy with the purchase, brilliant value for money and a great set of speakers. Highly recommended.

perfect for the price

Delivered quickly by Amazon and packed well. The speakers themselves are heavy and appear to be made from decent quality materials. These are Chinese manufactured and so installation instructions are basic but suffice. Once fitted, the speakers were a big improvement over the standard car speakers but not up there with Pioneer or Kenwood, which is no surprise as the price reflects. Overall decent speakers at a good price.

Absolutely terrible.Purchased to replace a water damaged oem speaker in a Suzuki. I should have sent them back when I realised how badly matched they were with the still fitted oem rear speakers, need to set the fader to F6 (f7 is the maximum with no output to the rear) to get a balanced sound.After a month I noticed the sound from one of the speakers was intermittent. I checked my wiring and couldn't find anything wrong but my fiddling about seemed to fix the problem.Within 2 weeks no sound at all from the same speaker. Swapping the speakers around in the car proves that the head unit and wiring are okay.In less than 2 months one of the speakers has completely stopped working.
