The shelves are as described. I'm storing tool boxes and power tools and it's doing a great job.My only small complaint was that the packaging was damaged which allowed some of the component parts to come out and be slightly bent at the ends. Fortunately I was able to easily remedy this and built the unit without any problem.

Boxes on these shelves, keeps everything tidy. It is a strong and stable shelf. You need a mallet hammer to knock it together, which can sound loud, but is fairly quick to do. I dismantle it, then re-construct it every time I move. No problems so far, although you are probably only supposed to build it once. It has no screws, since the metal tabs are supposed to slot into place. This can be tricky, but with a little care and a few knocks it all comes together. The only flaw is the paint on the metal tabs can scrap off as you put it together with force. And try not to loose the little feet in transit. The shelving is plain MDF, so you might want to varnish it, or spray paint it. Make it look more elegant or colourful if you are using it as shelving for a domestic space for industrial inspired interior design.

Amazing. Tough,messy to construct and great to be able to adjust the height of shelves to suit requirements. If I had enough room I would have bought two!

Composed of simple rigid materials, the Monster Steel Shelving Unit has proved itself a useful addition to my garage. It took a little patience to orchestrate the slotting-in of the shelves to the uprights, but I'd say I had the work complete within an hour. The result is a strong and capacious unit, which I'm quite prepared to believe would bear the quoted weights. One small observation - I found it impossible to fit the final plastic cap to the top of the last upright with the top shelf set to maximum height (there being insufficient clearance around the edges of the MDF shelf). Hardly a deal-breaker and something which could be overcome were the top shelf to be mounted one slot lower than the top of the uprights.

We are really pleased with these shelves. A little bit fiddly to assemble but once up they look great and are really sturdy. They currently sit in our home office and do the job as intended
