Don’t waste your money.
This is for kindergartners. Awful layout and plain content.

Tiny but mighty
My counselor and I were talking about the childhood trauma I endured and how it negatively shaped who I am as an adult. She suggested I write letters to my younger self as a way of comforting and nurturing myself and letting go of the past. I found this book and decided to give it a try. I really enjoyed it! It helped me realize that my feelings mattered, even though they didn't matter to my abuser. It felt good to get all of my feelings out on paper and work through my emotions. it's a small book but packs a lot of punch. I wish the pages were in color, but I grabbed some colored pencils and added my own color and doodles. I just purchased the author's second book so I can continue the journey.

Thought-provoking and a wonderful journey
I first got this book during a reflective phase and then purchased another copy as a gift. Very insightful and rewarding.

Dear Me…Love Letters to my inner Child
DearMe…LoveLetters to my Inner Child! I found this book to be a trip down memory lane…a reminder of the good in my past and also the difficulties that I endured. Bernice Angoh has compiled a journal that helps us walk through our past rejoicing in the joys but, more importantly, she gives us a personal tool that can help us understand what needs healing and a way to work through the healing.

Good enough
Helpful but could have been written better for all people. Doesn't seem to integrate Internal Family Systems well enough to actually address inner child work.
