Baby JoggerBritax Car Seat Adapters for City Select and City Select LUX Strollers, Black, 1 Count (Pack of 1)

I have a City Select double stroller and a Britax B-Agile Travel System. This adapter allows me to use my existing Britax infant car seats with both strollers.I bought the City Select double stroller because we didn't like the double stroller options available from Britax, and we already had two Britax infant car seats for our B-Agile strollers. It's great not needing to buy additional infant car seats just because we bought a new stroller. Note that any Britax infant car seat that will connect to a Britax B-Agile stroller will also connect with this adapter (we have a first generation and the current third generation B-Agile stroller). The bar on this adapter has two settings, and you'll need to move the bar to the second setting (i.e., extending it farther out) in order to connect a Britax infant car seat to a City Select double stroller with your baby facing you.The release button on the Britax car seat doesn’t work as smoothly when connected to this adaptor as it does when connected to a Britax stroller. Sometimes the Britax car seat catches on release. But for me it’s more of an annoyance – i.e., having to wiggle the car seat a little - than a functional issue. I’ve always been able to remove the car seat.

Compatible with the city select stroller and britax b-safe car seat . Easy to install . The only negative is that it gets stuck when removing the car seat. But I have also noticed the same problem with my “bob” stroller adapter as well. I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the adapters or britax car seats. Luckily i was able to find a trick for working with it. Warning, until you get the hang of it you may become extremely frustrated- I almost returned it! I watched videos and read reviews from others who reported same problem and still could not figure it out. It wasn’t until I had my husband tried that I figured it out. I don’t know if it’s because I’m short that I struggle with it . But you have to put your self over it and with one swift motion lift straight up . It took some practicing but I was able to get it down . Hope this helps !

I contacted Baby Jogger regarding if this adapter would work with the Ultra style carseat. They said it did not. However, their most-updated compatibility guide was done in August 2017, which is almost two years old, and Britax's B-Safe 35 Ultra model carseat is newer than the latest compatibility guide. Needless to say, it was frustrating to get this response from Baby Jogger, however, this adapter DOES work for the Ultra! I am so happy that it works. It fits fine, without any problems. I think the carseat is pretty much the same size as the Britax B-Safe 35 Elite model of the carseat, and they do certify that that is compatible with the Baby Jogger City Select stroller. I read someone else's review on here that said it worked with the Britax B-Safe 35 Ultra carseat model, and was so grateful for that review. Here's another one to say, yes, it is compatible (at least functionally, it completely fits/works), even if the company won't say officially that it's compatible. This was the only place that I could find to buy this. Hope it helps someone else.

We were given the Baby Jogger City Select by an acquaintance when we found out we were expecting our second. We have a Britax carrier and single stroller.Searched for accessories and this popped up as a suggestion. Upon reading reviews that others had their carrier get stuck but someone mentioned pushing down lightly to release the carrier, we have run in to no issues thus far.Love the ease of use, the stability bar in the back, and the flexibility to use the carrier or the seat for the City Select.

If it hadn’t been for a review I read prior to buying, I would be struggling to take the seat off of the stroller attachment. You have to press down before lifting up and that way it unlocks without any problems. Really like that i am able to use my Britax b safe 35 with my city select double stroller

I am upset with myself for putting off buying this for so long because of some bad reviews here.I have a 2014 City Select and the Bob/Britax B-Safe 35. The adapter is easy to install, allowing the car seat to face forward or parent facing depending on which way you attach the support bar.As other reviews have said, the car seat sometimes sticks, but HARDLY. With a little push down while pressing the car seat release button it will come off, no sweat.This is much easier than moving my infant to the bassinet or seat (especially when he is sleeping in his car seat) I HONESTLY WISH I HAD PURCHASED IT SOONER

This item is the only added device for this combo. It comes in 4 sections that need to be snapped together each time, which is annoying and easy to loose when you pack it away in the trunk and trying to rush. It does the job But there's no other way.
