An accurate review. 2 thumbs up
Ok this is a real review from a real non sponsored person who actually uses the mount. No there is no weak magnet because as anyone who actually owns the Arlo knows, the magnet is in th ARLO camera. The camera attaches just fine. I have it both hanging from a tree outside as a vertical mount and hanging upside down from an overhanging ceiling outside over my garage. The magnet attachment is strong and there is no slippage.I mounted with my own #6 1.5” wood screws which drill through the 2 holes in the back plate just fine. You lock the mount into place by turning it clockwise over the locking tabs.As long as you use screws and NOT adhesive there is no way this thing is going to disconnect. The one review that complained about the metal plate having weak adhesive and separating used adhesive to mount the mount. Bad idea. If you are going to mount it with adhesive I’d pry off the metal and just attach it to the backing plastic.Or just be safe and use screws! The screws that come with the mount are tiny and I wouldn’t trust them but again a 2 cent #6 wood screw will work perfectly.Quality is very good.

2021 Olympic Tryout
Underhanded Amazon driver underhandedly tossed envelope at a 3’ height and from 8’ away onto concrete toward a front door.Must be practicing for the 2021 Olympics package tossing category. They survived so they must be durable and the magnet holds arlo Pro 2 camera in place too.

Great versatile Arlo camera mount; so-so hardware.
This is a much better mounting option than the half-sphere mounting system Arlo supplies...but it has one minor flaw: the screws are very soft. Take caution when mounting the base: its very easy to torque the heads off the small screws. Aside from that, this is a very solid mounting solution I would recommend to any Arlo owner.

Works perfectly, with a little modification
I wanted to use this to put the camera on a mantle and point the camera down toward the floor. Unfortunately the base would only allow the camera to go so far, otherwise I would do 5 stars. So what to do? .... Well, I modified it. The ball is attached with a 1/4-20 screw. Next time I was at the hardware store I got a longer screw and a spacer and made it 1/2 inch taller. Of course you could also just take the ball off and attach it to a regular photo tripod (it's the same thread). There are zillions of options for those.

Works, Looks Good, and Allows Power Plug
These mounts look good and were easy to put up. They give a much better viewing angle than the plain 1/2 ball that comes with the cameras and MOST IMPORTANT (to me anyway) is the mounting structure allows for power to be plugged in while mounted on my Arlo 2 PRO cameras. This fixes the horrible design flaws on the Arlo 2 PROs which prevents the ones that screw into the threaded hole in the back from being plugged in.

Mounts that really do the job!
Been looking for a solution beyond the hardware that came with my Arlo for mounts. This is the remedy. I can take advantage of the magnetic feature to get the angle I need. I use my cameras to keep an eye on my dog, Arlo (rescue dog with the name before I had the cameras!) These mounts are perfect!

Easy to adjust your camera angle!
This makes it a lot easier, to adjust the camera angle or to move the camera to a different location. I put mine outside, and I don't know if they're actually made for that, but the price was good enough that I can buy another pair, if these don't last outside. They're made very well, though, and were really easy to mount.

Works well.
Just received it and put it up...I don't know why people are saying the magnet is weak because the magnet is in the camera so it's the same with any mount. No problems. Allows better positioning of the camera for sure.
