Connect Access Card for Fundamental Accounting Principles

The way the info is organized is the only thing that bothers me. Halfway through the textbook you find yourself saying things like, "Man, I wish this was in the beginning of the book" or "If this was included in earlier chapters it would've been easier to understand." Side note to whoever is reading this and considering this purchase- They can only include so much info in the chapters so you'll find that there is a lot of information "missing" and you have to find it in the Summary or the Appendix at the end of the book.Side note- McGraw offers the online access card electronically if you cannot wait to purchase or renew your connect access. When I purchased it there, it was also cheaper ($147) in addition to receiving it automatically.

Just what I needed for class

This text needs an overhaul. After years of revisions that end up in margins, footnotes and appendices - This text has become a disorganized, confusing mess. It looks like all the investment went into the computerized version of this text, which has additional materials, but it's based on a text that needs reworking. The questions in the Smartbook are like a trivial pursuit game and certainly not based on any learning theory. The Homework assignments and tests are way too long as there are so many redundant questions. If you answered a problem type once, you can probably answer four more like it. This is not the best way to learn accounting.
