Pampered Chef Smooth-Edge Can Opener

The best can opener. Our old Pampered Chef can opener wore out. We tried so many different brands, both hand-held and electric and none of them worked as well as these. It’s kinda pricey, but it’s so worth it. Doesn’t leave rough edges and is easy to use.

This is not the original pampered chef can opener. It took me a minute to figure out how to use it. But it works great. And easy to use once you figure it out.

Just opened a can of olives and the opener is smooth as silk! No complaints at all, I like it!

Had this for NINE years now and opened many a can: it opens them with smooth edges that won't cut you, and unless your hand can't torque the handle, you'll find it easy to twist/turn while it's cutting into the top of the can. Only thing is it takes a little time to get used to positioning it on the side of the can just right, but once you learn you'll run the circumference like a pro and wonder how you ever used standard hand-turn can openers of other kinds before using this one.

It works great, much like the older version, but it’s a bit more stiff to turn than my older model is.

Every cheap can opener I’ve ever had was at least moderately difficult to use. Or the opener did not last very long before failing to open any can. This one opened the first can so easily that I did not realize it had worked until I used the pincer to grasp the top of the can and remove it.After I got over the anxiety of spending $50 on a can opener. I found it to be potentially worthwhile. If it lasts a long time then it will definitely be worthwhile.
