Took a heck of time to get the old 40+yr tub drain out to install this item. It went in well and fit nicely in the drain hole area. The only problem now is the Life/Turn/Twist stopper that comes with this entire kit. Its impossible to screw it back into the drain once you take it out and the screw on the side to hold the main post for the stopper isnt long enough to be effective. This has happened already with a similar product. Whom ever is installing the screws for these products (see picture) is skimping on putting the appropriate length screw in. In the picture you can see even screwed as far as possible it still doesnt hit the center of the stopper.Will have to decide on another stopper as I am not pulling this existing drain out for another 40yrs.

I can not believe how hard these things are to find in a store and for this cost! This product is amazing! It’s versatile so if you have a old bathtub like me and you have a hard time finding the smaller drain hole fitting then this is it. It has an adaptable piece to remove or you can leave it on if you need the more modern fit. Super well made product and way better shape then the lowes or Home Depot models. Way better price also! I couldn’t even find a product like this in the hardware stores. Great find! Super easy to install and looks great! Definitely recommend this product over a hardware store sell.

Moved into a new home earlier this year. Builder had installed brushed nickel faucets with chrome overflow faceplates and drains. My OCD could not stand it any longer, so I installed these conversion kits to match the faucets. As others have stated, the quality of these components is excellent and the price is about half what you will pay at local retail stores. I already had a bathtub drain wrench in my toolbox, I'm not sure how you would do the install without one. You do have to remove and reinstall the stopper during the install process using a phillips screwdriver and small open-end wrench. You also have to do this to remove the old drain. I used plumbers putty for a much cleaner look instead of the included rubber gasket to seal the drain. I've done this before, but I still can't say it is an "easy" install.

This polished brass drain and overflow plate are the color I needed to match my bathroom decor.
