VIGSHAVING 22mm Diameter Finest Two Band Badger Hair Shaving Brush Knot

I ordered this for a spare handle and have not used until recently as I have a variety of brushes. I was initially disappointed as the glue ball was very prominent. Having used this brush I want to say that it is excellent. I see that another reviewer said that it was "not a Simpson." I like it more than the two Simpsons that I have owned. It has more loft and it is excellent at lathering - I am a face latherer and use an English cream soap. I bought the 23.5 version and put it into a 24mm handle. IMHO you cannot go wrong and there is no need to spend huge money buying a "name" brush from England..

This knot is by far, the best re-knot I have ever used! There was almost no smell, the softness was outstanding, right from the git-go. This thing EXPLODED into a bloom!!It retained a good amount of heat, had more than enough soap to do all three passes with a straight razor. Not a hair one was lost, no twisting in the middle, performed like a total champ! Just the right amount of backbone to lather hard puck soap, soft enough to do a face lather too. A huge thank you for a top notch product, that got my 30 year old brushes back beyond any expectations! Super fast shipping, and great packing! I will be doing more buisness with these folks again! You can count on that!

I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this knot. It bloomed beautifully, holds a lot of water, has soft tips with just a tiny bit of scritch but still has decent backbone. Fairly dense knot although it's no Simpson. However it still lathers as good as any brush I have. For the money this knot is well worth the price and I would definitely recommend it.

This knot far exceeded my expectations! Ive owned many brushes and its on par with my expensive ones. Its very dense and has soft gel-like tips with plenty of backbone. I face lather and this knot is the perfect combo for me. Its lost only 2- 3 hairs in 2 months. The price does not justify the quality of this brush. Im about to order a few more!

Soft and smoothe with plenty of back-bone

Outstanding quality and price, just use a little epoxy and you'll have an excellent burst with no shedding. I save a ton of money. I have since purchased several additional knots.

The 22mm is actually 20mm so it didn't fit in the base. It does not appear to be silvertip, I have a "Best" Badger hair brush that is rated a lower quality and it is much softer. Furthermore, the hair appears to be cut on the tips.
