I use this case for my .54 Black Powder Pistol which is reproduction Layman Plains Pistol 13" long

I don't travel frequently with my firearm so I needed a case for only two things; storage and for the range. My previous case was a bit on the small side and this one seems to be a bit on the bigger side. Being a bit bigger is okay with me as it allows me to store a few more items than I could with my previous case. The case is 18 x 13 so it holds my Glock 17L with ease along with several mags and speed loader. I'm planning on getting a suppressor so that should fit in here as well.Biggest issue for me is the egg crate foam. I've never liked this stuff since items don't always lay flat or "fit" properly. I'm either going to cut out some spaces in the foam or replace it with some pluck foam. Once you put anything in the case and try to close it, it gets really stiff and you have to push down hard on the case to be able to close the latches. I'm thinking cutting out some spaces in the foam should correct this.The case itself seems pretty sturdy. Once closed, nothing moves around in the case which is good. I'm hoping the case holds up well. As I don't travel with my firearm, I think this case should last a bit.

I had bought this case for the idea of carefully cutting out ah section for my gaming tablet, tue keep it 100% safe. I'm happy I did so. 5 Stars.

Plano produces quality products at reasonable prices, manufactured in the USA. In addition to this pistol case, I own two of their 131200 Ammo Cans, which are of similar build as this case and also of excellent quality with great durability.Just about all reasonably-priced pistol cases I see nowadays are made of plastic, as is this one. But, it's thick, rugged plastic that will take a real beating. As for asthetics, the outside design looks very cool. The interior foam is also nice and beefy, and securely protects its contents without anything sliding around inside.Another great feature is that it has real hinges, secured by a metal rod. Unlike a plastic hinge molded on as part of the case, you'll never see this one snap off after many repeated open and closings.As far as capacity, it holds both my Colt Trooper MK III .357 Magnum and Bersa Ultra Compact Pro .45, with plenty of room left over for a few .357 speed loaders and extra clips for the .45.Also, no concerns with lock accommodation, it with actually accept two of them, and my TSA locks fit perfectly, making it very suitable to place inside checked luggage before checking in for your flight at the airport. I've seen some reviews here claim that the case can still be opened enough to remove guns with locks attached. If that's happening to you, you're obviously using locks with shackles that are way too long, as I have no problems with this whatsoever.The only thing I have to say negatively, if you use a bit too much force opening the latches, they will sometimes pop off. It's really a nit, and does not occur if you place your thumbs at the top of the latches while opening the case. Even when I did have have one detach, it popped right back on with no issues, and has been fine ever since. As long as you don't go Arnold Schwarzenegger on it, it's certainly nothing to be concerned about.This is truly one of the best pistol cases I've ever owned, and a real bargain. VERRRY SPACIOUS, padding is removable and firm!

The case seems great, it definitely works as intended and what I bought it for. One thing I will say is to pay attention to the size in the description. This is definitely not a bad thing but it is much bigger than what I thought it would be, but this is my fault for not looking at the size. I wanted something for a single handgun, I could probably fit 4 handguns in this beast (guess I just have to buy more to fill the empty space). It does have two holes on both sides of the handle to put locks on. Keep in mind that this is a case and NOT a safe. Adding a lock on it will only keep kids out of it. If someone wanted what was inside, it would not be hard to get into. This is not a con of the product because it wasn't meant to be a safe, but depending on your intended use it should be noted. It has pretty thick foam on both the top and bottom interior which is really nice and creates a snug fit on my gun (Taurus g2c). The gun doesn't rattle or move around on the inside The plastic is just okay. It isn't very rigid and I would imagine wouldn't be hard to cut into but it's enough for what I want. Overall for the price you can't complain. It will keep your guns locked up/out of the hands of others in your home and protected from wear. It's perfect for what I wanted it for (keeping my handgun out of the hands of nieces and nephews) but it's nothing special. Overall, great value for the money, lots of space for multiple handguns or accessories, two spots to place a lock, good protection with thick foam, and solid snaps with a good seal, and good functionality/design. This case was delivered promptly and is very good quality. The case is spacious and is more than enough to store my Glock 22 w/ mounted gun-light, two magazines, a box of ammunition, and concealed-carry holster. I was skeptical about how securely the case would hold items in place but it does a pretty good job about that. My only criticism about this case is how pliable the plastic is. Even with TWO locks fastened onto the case, a person could still get a hand into the case. I was checking my firearm in at the Albuquerque, NM airport and was told that TSA would not allow the gun to fly because the gun might be accessible. They sold me extra locks, which secured the firearm enough to fly.

Ich habe nach einem Pistolenkoffer gesucht, in dem ich meine beiden CO2 Buffen samt Schalldämpfer unterbringen kann. Wichtig war auch das nichts verrutscht obwohl ich in der Unterbringung und Aufteilung flexibel bin, denn es verändert sich ja doch immer wieder etwas. Dieser Koffer ist äußertst hochwertig und sehr stabil. Ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut. Ein Schloss hat der Koffer nicht, doch ist hier an Ösen für ein kleines Vorhängeschloss gedacht.

Good quality case

フタのロックが外れやすく思いますが、軽量で使いやすいです。収めたエアガンもしっかりと保持されており、安心して運搬できます。激しく扱ったことがないので耐久性は不明ですが、樹脂製品品ですので耐候性は期待できないでしょう。

Seems like a well made case. I would say it's worth what I paid. I really only needed a case for two pistols and in the picture, that's all it looks like it could hold anyway. When I saw that it was a 4 gun case, I was a little pessimistic. A Sig Sauer X5, a Beretta PX4 Storm and their magazines is all that's fitting in there. That's fine for me, but if you need a 4 pistol case, look elsewhere.
