Does the job
This is the second time I have purchased an window air con cover. The first purchase was too big, this one was perfect in size and does what expected. Adhesion is fine, seen some parts coming off, but just stick it back down.

Be prepared to cut this to fit your window
I have decided to buy the window seal kit after seeing it on Amazon, there was a review saying that it won't fit my window without cutting it, but just ignored it. You will need to cut it

a bodge that does its job, within limits
We spend some of the warmer parts of the year nearer the Mediterranean, where the consistent sunshine and heat are a mixed blessing. We’re on a budget, so we bought portable air conditioning without realising the implications. It blows cold out of one side, but there’s an equal and opposite blast of hot air out of the other side that you need to redirect somewhere outside if you want the room cooler not hotter.Like a non-condensing tumble dryer, there’s a hose in the back of the unit that needs to point outside, but you can’t just put it out of an open window because the air con only works in a sealed space. The window seal kit from STACEGEELE is a way to block the gap around a cracked-open window, normal or French, but lets your portable air conditioner hose stick out into the world. It’s a pair of plastic fabric curtains with a zip up the middle. STACEGEELE provide self-adhesive tape that lets you Velcro the outer edges of the curtain around the edges of your chosen opener, creating something a bit like the door on a tent. You push the hose out through a gap created between two zip “heads” and tug them as tight as you can round the tube. It’s not perfect but it’s better than hoping you’ll get away with just opening the window a bit or pointing the hose down the stairs into the empty hall. (Hint: neither of these work.)Portable air conditioning is a compromise, so a kit like this is a budget-friendly way to get the best out of an imperfect solution. For £15.99 at time of review, it’ll get things working in less time and with less stress and swearing than trying to “Blue Peter” something out of cardboard and sticky tape.

AC Window Seal Kit
The air con window seal kit seems like a great solution to keep cool air inside the room during summer. It is easy to install and comes with all the necessary materials to set up the kit. The fact that it does not require drilling holes is a plus. The kit is also easy to use as it can be zipped in place between the window and window frame, and can be opened or closed without removing the seal. It is also suitable for all portable air conditioners, tumble dryers, dehumidifiers or other machines with exhaust hose. The quality of the kit seems to be good with high-quality zippers and strong hook tape. The only limitation seems to be that it may not be suitable for sliding windows or doors. Overall, this is a good product that can help keep a cool and comfortable living environment during hot summer days.

Needs much better instructions
The media could not be loaded. To start on a positive, this product does work. For many years we have had an air conditioning unit and have just thrown the air outlet pipe out the window and left it. We wanted to seal it a bit better to stop the moths getting in and stop the cats climbing out. This does seal off the window and hasn’t let any bugs in. I’m not convinced of the strength of it to test it out with our house cats though.Installation is a bit of a nightmare! I’m not 100% sure it’s correct even now. The instructions look like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy. Super blurry, no picture definition and of course that makes it even harder to follow.First of all, the instructions (both the book and the video) only show you how to install the product on a window that opens inwards. I have never lived in a house with windows that open inwards… if you flip the instructions thinking they would work the opposite way for an outward opening window… you’d be wrong. As you would need to install the product from outside your house for it to work.To start, measure all the way around your window, all 4 sides. This length is what you’ll need when purchasing the right length. Ours came up at about 260cm ish so we got the 300cm one. This was the right size.I would start off by using the Velcro sticky tape to go all the way around the window on the part of the frame that doesn’t open - the bit that’s like the door frame. Then do the same around the edge of the actual window that opens. What isn’t explained well - and I still don’t understand - is where you are supposed to put the tape on the window that opens when it opens outwards. In everything we tried, the only solution Means the handle is stuck on the other side of the seal which seems odd.We then tried to Velcro on the short edge of the seal on the inside frame as per instructions and it didn’t work. We flipped we panel over and used the long edge instead and this did work. The zip seems a little flimsy but does the job. You have to open the zip to use the window handle and to put out the hose of the air con. You then use the zip to get it as closed around the hose as possible. It’s also not explained what you do the the excess. I tucked it outside the window but it means the seal is far from perfect.I feel like what should have been a 10 minute job took about 45 minutes and isn’t very aesthetically pleasing, but it does work.

Once installed its good.
I have received this AC window seal kit to review on behalf of Amazon. It arrived promptly and well packaged.Although the instructions seemed simple enough, I did find it difficult to install, however once I had it done, it worked very well. Normally I had just kinda put the hose out the window and hoping for the best. This has definitely made it easier and seals up nicely.
