Very poor HRM, questionable sleep pattern monitor, bluetooth died after 4 months
I was hopeful this would serve my purposes, mostly as a Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) and also a sleep tracker. I was able to easily download the app to my iPhone and connect bluetooth, and the app looked fairly decent, though I have no other experience with fitbit or other phone connected fitness trackers. The first issue I found was the difficulty attaching and detaching the band to my wrist. I finally got the knack of it, though it still doesn't fasten easily and is difficult to unfasten (hint: bend the end back over the catch slot and pull it apart).Connecting to the included charger is also very difficult. It looks attached, but it takes minutes of fiddling to ensure it's actually charging, otherwise when you come back it will still be dead. Make sure you see the large charging battery showing on the dial and carefully lay it down and ensure you still see the charging battery. Battery life wasn't as advertised. A full charge lasts all night as a sleep tracker, but will probably die before you're done with a morning workout. If I take it off and lay it on the dresser in the morning the LED HRM turns on and off at regular intervals, and is very bright, and probably the cause of the battery drain. I didn't figure out the different HRM modes, and it didn't seem to change the LED in any mode.As far as HRM accuracy, it is very poor. It shows my resting HR is 87, but when I'm at the gym on the elliptical at full effort settings it shows anywhere from 77 bpm to about 90 bpm, while the elliptical shows 140 to 150 bpm using hand sensors. My only other HRM was a Timex watch with a chest strap, and that was always within 3 bpm of the elliptical. I think I'll go back to a chest strap type.I kept it for novelty as a sleep pattern recorder, though as inaccurate it is at HRM I would think it's much less accurate at gauging sleep. It only keeps the previous day's data in the phone app, and more often than not doesn't get any data, even when it's charged and looks like it's working. The bluetooth stopped working after 4 months, and since there doesn't appear to be a warranty it's not much good for anything anymore, since you can only set time of day via bluetooth connection. My phone works fine for tracking steps and miles walked, so I never tried that.I'm thinking of either something like the Timex chest strap HRM or maybe Fitbit Charge 2 if it's better.[edit] A couple other things I meant to add. The display is smaller than I expected, so it's hard to read without glasses. Also, I had to reconnect to bluetooth each use, unlike my other bluetooth devices that automatically connect, so that was the cause of many nights losing sleep pattern data.

Update: Seller replaced my defective unit and it works great! Excellent customer service!
LATEST UPDATE: The seller responded to me and sent me a replacement tracker which is working perfectly. I like this tracker so much and love that I can get my notifications right on my wrist for incoming calls, messages, emails etc. The customer service was outstanding. The app could be a little more robust and provide a bit more detailed information which is the only reason this isn't a 5 star review. For example, the Fitbit app definitely has more features and is easier to work with, however, for the price of this tracker, the value of what you receive is very good.UPDATE: It's been less than a week of using this and it has died completely, it won't even charge. I will be contacting the seller, very unhappy with the performance of this product.I bought this because none of my smart devices have a heart rate monitor. I really wanted to track my daily heart rate as well as my heart rate when I'm doing exercise so I wear this along with my other device. I like that the price was very reasonable. I do like the calorie counting feature as well. I am having an issue with not receiving notifications on my tracker so I'm still fiddling with it to get it to work as stated in the product description. If I can get the notifications feature properly working, I'll update my review and likely raise the stars to 5 as I think this is a very good tracker with a large number of features for a good price. By the way, I actually like the clasp feature on the band as well. At first, I thought it would be easy to come loose and possibly fall off, but the design is quite unique and very secure. It's also low profile which I appreciate.

Easy to use and a good buy for the price range.
Legit. This has the date, time, pedometer, a calorie counter, heart rate monitor, distance and phone notifications. Even as a simple watch, this product is nice because it is slim, sleek and the time comes on when you flick your wrist. I use the heart rate monitor when I'm exercising. This comes with an app to download in order to get to all of your data and settings, but it's a lightweight app and easy to use. The notifications are SO nice. I love being able to see when I have a text or phone call and who it's from. Then I'm not checking my phone all the time. There were a couple of reasons why I knocked the star off... First, the pedometer picks up more steps than I take just by jostling the band. Second, the sleep tracker doesn't seem to be doing a thing - no data. And third, I wish the screen would scroll and show you the whole text with the notifications. Other than those, this thing is nice and durable. Easy to use and a good buy for the price range.

Glorified Digital Clock
There are a lot of problems with this fitness tracker, but I'll start with the pros. First, it's really affordable compared to others. Second, the battery life is great compared to others. I check it fairly frequently and it usually lasts me 3-4 days. Steps taken also seems somewhat accurate. As far as pros go, that's about it.Here's a long list of cons. Heart rate tracker is not very accurate for me. There are a lot of times when I'm on my couch relaxing and it says my heart rate is around 120 bpm. Conversely, I've been mountain biking and it says my heart rate is around 60 bpm. There is no way that those values are correct. The sleep tracking is garbage. Most nights, it doesn't even record that I was asleep. This is my biggest problem with it though: if my phone disconnects from it, all of the data resets (calories burned, steps taken, heart rate data). The time also resets to whatever it was out of the box (which for some reason is April 1st 8:00). This turns out to be extremely annoying when I go to the bathroom, because I don't always take my phone with me, and then all of my data is erased. This alone is the biggest problem I have with the device, and it basically makes it unusable most of the time.
