much better then i expected
i bought this to be used with my SAS air system for grinding fiberglass. I was actually surprised at the quality for the money, lets face it its at the bottom end of pricing for these kinda things and there are some neg reviews on here which i dont think are valid because, well, you did but the cheapest one on the market lol. Dont get me wrong its still on the cheap side but plenty strong and durable enough for regular light commercial use if your on a budget. I had to change the fitting but was not hard to find an adapter to work with my Survive Air system. The consumable lens is easy to change and easy to just make your own if your hard on them.

Didn’t meet our expectations
This is a good unit for very light sandblasting. If you are planning to do sandblasting on a hard surface like we did on steel at 130 PSI @ 80 CFM, this unit is not for you...the visor got totally scratched in less than 30 minutes.Very difficult to get replacements, seller never replied to questions.....

Good Quality Sand Blasting Helmet
I have upgraded from a cloth style Hazard Freight sand blasting hood, it worked but was not a solution. This helmet is of decent quality and has good adjustablity like a hard hat. The hose for fresh air has a a spring so you cannot kink it. Replacement lenses take a while to get so order early.

No sand leaking into the helmet
So far after blasting for 14 hours with silica sand, this helmet has done a great job of staying sealed. I run my air about 6 to 10 PSI to maintain enough volume since I feed it from a regular (brand new and clean) air hose. I was able to get plenty of face shields for it though I've not wore out the first one yet. If you don't have an air heater I recommend wearing something on your head, can get cold as the air flows down. But all in all, this helmet is working perfectly. The inside is staying completely clean which is a very good sign.

Seems fine so far...
The supplied hose seems too short to be useful. The helmet has male threads of *either* M25x1.75 or 1-14 (not sure which). These are hard to find.My plan is to discard the origninal hose, keeping only one of the compression fittings that come with it. This compression fitting screws onto the helmet, should work with hoses 16mm OD, 12mm ID or 5/8 OD, 1/2 ID.

Not bad. Not good.
The good news is that I am able to blast in my 8x12 room without breathing in any dust at all. I have a high cfm blow attached to this helmet pulling air from a clean area. The bad is the clips on the apron/cape ripped off within 10 minutes. There aren't any replacement lenses for the inside lens, which is very thin. I am going to have to figure something out once that lens gets scratched. It will get scratched because blasting media does get in between the outer and inner lens. It's slightly overpriced for what it provides, but there's nothing else close to it available in this price range. If they offered a replacement inner lens I would give 5 stars.
