Very helpful and intutive! This book is great for healthcare professionals wanting to properly assess and care for mental health patients. It helped me understand the complexities that exist in the mental health field. It takes you through different questions and scenarios so you can find the right solution based on the memorization of different use cases. I found this educational because there are things you don't think about when dealing with patients suffering from some of these challenges as presented in the book. All healthcare professionals should make this required reading.

I read this because I'm a social worker and was curious about the overlap of mental health into the nursing profession. What makes this a great guide is that it provides rationale for EVERY multiple-choice option. The questions are concise and cut to the chase (nothing worse than reading a long-winded question). This book also served as a helpful 'refresher' for me in a way. A great guide; would recommend this to anyone needing to sit for this exam!

Although not in the field of psychiatric nursing, I found the 100 questions, answers, and discussion of the correct and incorrect choices extremely informative. The questions are clearly stated. The responses are well written and understandable, even to one not educated in the subject matter. I strongly recommend this book for a non-clinical person’s education and definitely recommend this book for someone reviewing for boards in the field.

Very much what it says on the label, this book will help nursing students in need of passing their NCLEX-RN exam to become a registered nurse. My daughter is very much planning to be a registered nurse, so we used this book to help with the preparations.

This straightforward study help delves right into the subject matter, putting the reader through the paces. The questions provided cover the spectrum of nursing related issues. The answers given will surely test your understanding of the material. The rationale given as to the correct answer will thoroughly explain the reasoning behind it. A well-rounded book to help you in your studies.

The book does not have any sections to be able to practice specific topics. The questions are just numbered and are in random order of topics.

This book is very informative! Not only does it ask questions that you'd run into in real life but it explains why the answer is the answer and why the other ones don't work in a really easy to learn way. It doesn't give you so much jargon you get lost in what it is trying to teach you.
