I've had this for half a year. I have lots of different battery-powered motion-sensing lights. This one is astounding. It's like magic - I can't express this enough. I'm bewildered how it can work so well.It stays charged and working even after days of dreary, overcast winter days. It lights up with snow on it.If there would be anything you might not like about it it would be that the sensor is so sensitive that walking 'behind' it even sets it off. It must be that it can detect your body-heat signature reflecting off walls in front of it? I figured this overly sensitive behavior would cause the battery to stay run-down, but it never seems to run down! It's super-bright, so this too should run it down, but it never runs down.It's one of the best values of any product I've ever bought. No, I'm not affiliated with the company that sells it or manufactures it. This thing just out-performs all expectations.

I love this light ! It has come in handy so many times already . I went to put it up as a light over the garage door but ended up using it as a light source for jobs in the yard when it gets dark . I love how bright it is and it isn't that big so it makes it easy to sit close to wherever you need extra light . I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these lights and if you are on the fence about getting one don't wait any longer as you won't be disappointed. It is made well and easy to use the multi function button makes changing the settings a breeze .

Pros: - Very bright. - Feels sturdy.Cons: - Ugly. - Too bright. - Hard to work. I still can't get it to work. It has one button next to the motion sensor. Supposedly I am supposed to hold it for 5 seconds to enter mode 1 then press it two more times to get to mode 3 (which is the mode I want, the mode that only turns on when dark and it detects motion), but that was difficult and I'm still not certain I did it right: 1) switching through the modes gives no indication, "did I press the button hard enough? Did I accidentally double click?", 2) the thing was working after the 2nd night of me button pressing with it, but then the following night it didn't trigger (and it was a sunny day earlier) so I'll need to try pressing the buttons again...I got this for free in exchange for my review: - Would I have bought this if I wanted really bright motion responding light in an area where appearances didn't matter?: yes. - Would I return it now that I have used it?: unfortunately yes.

Was dubious whether these would work, or last. Have had it for almost a year and it works in all weather. The sensor works exceptionally well and the unit produces a LOT of light. Very easy to install, has a sleek, unobtrusive profile, and fits most anywhere. Like it so much that I purchased 2 more. Only thing to be aware of; nights with heavy rain and wind can trigger the sensor.

So far so good. Work well and we live on the Northern Coast of California so not always sunny.

This one did not work at all. I have changed the location, suspecting there may not have been enough sunlight in the original location. But, even after full sun light for a couple of days, the light failed to respond to any motion in the dark.

Great little lite. Painted it brown and mounted it above my shed doors to match the facia. Perfect. Thx.
