Yup, 1/8" square Balsa dowels. The quality is fine, as good as any tiny Balsa "sticks".The main thing is to just remember that Balsa has something of an open/loose grain, and the thinner it's cut, the more it tends to split under any more than light stress or pressure. So, assess what you want to do in each section of your project and, if you need something tiny yet able to support any more than very light *weight or stress*, consider Birch, or a a wood with a similarly tight/small "grain". HOWEVER, that being said, these are definitely **lightweight**, so they're great for using as spacers; as half-scale or quarter-scale window, etc., frames;, as short "pilings" or feet or even as square "logs" for building tiny miniatures, AND as just a bit of additional support for thin materials where weight has to be kept to a minimum. They can work super, for example, as a frame for smallish paper geometric models or as a bit of extra support between larger pieces of a paper, or fabric, lamp.- They glue up *very* well because of the nature of the grain and fibers.- Mainly, just keep in mind the nature of the material, and use what's appropriate for the various sections of your miniatures.

Love them! Considering the size - 1/8", they are perfectly straight, evenly cut and rather sturdy. Perfect for my projects. And they can be sanded easily. Definitely will buy again.

Most pieces were of high quality. You should expect to be disappointed with about 15 percent. 2 of the 60 pieces were completely unusable.

NICE and exactly what I wanted for DIY project. Building a Manager for my Nativity Scene including a corral for glass animals; donkey, cow, sheep, etc.Ordered the wood 1x1x12” and bottle if Elmer’s wood glue. Working on project slowly for display Christmas 2023. I have ordered/received my second shipment -same good quality! Happy 😃

Needed something to securely wedge insulation panels in screened sections of my hen coop/run and these were so easy ... no sawing to perfect lengths, etc., just tack the insulation in place nailing these along the edges to install. Come spring they'll be just as easy to tear out to open coop for warm weather.

These are just what I needed for my crafts. They were shipped quickly and packaged nice. I will order again when I need more.

It met my needs (enough), but I have to dock the seller for clearly deceiving intentionally by calling these hardwood. Thought I was getting a real hardwood but nah. Just balsa.
