If the humidity level drops below what you have programmed it to be at, will it turn back on automatically to get back up to that level?

Yes, the humidity detection will start humidification immediately when the value is lower than the set value. But be careful: first of all, the machine can accurately detect the humidity of the current environment, and the humidity value of the machine and your additional purchase of hygrometer is not matched. I know some customers put the humidifier inside or on top of the breeding box, which is more conducive to the machine to detect humidity.

Do this reptile fogger humidifiers leak?

This reptile fogger humidifiers will not leak, because its water tank is integrated, there is no need to worry about the occurrence of water leakage.

How often do they spray? 1 time per hour? Kind of vague? As in if it says 2 is that 2 times in a day?

Reptile mister system The touch button on the right side of the host computer sets the machine startup interval. Suppose you set the interval to ''2'', then the misting system host starts every 2 hours, that is, starts 12 times in 24 hours a day, and so on.

Does this work for hermit crabs??

Please do not listen to whoever says hermit crabs don’t need misting. YES THEY DO. It’s super important, they breather through gills and need 80% humidity ! Don’t kill your crabs !
