Bitter. Party of one
The media could not be loaded. I had high hopes for this little "fan". That's all it is. A $50 fan. Personal air cooler, yes "portable air conditioner" as mentioned in the title, absolutely not.My fan arrived defective, so I was already in a bad mood when I tested this item out. The water reservoir does not remove from the fan unit. I didn't want to pull too hard as I was afraid I would crack something and then I'd really be in trouble. As much as the water tank would open I shoved ice cubes and slushy water from the freezer to really power this bad boy up.The buttons on the display, literally mean nothing. The "snowflake" buttons make no difference in temperature. The fan speed 1, 2. 3......TURBO! was about the same in speed and cooling. I will give full marks for how quiet the unit is. However, as far as cooling the air more than any other portable fan, with or without water is non-existent. As I said, I had high hopes that this little unit would provide a nice spritz of cool and bring down the temperature a degree or two for a better night's sleep while camping.I didn't even bother messing with the fan in the tent as I can't even get my water tank to fill properly. The fan is lovely in a small, personal space, but after over an hour of running in a small bedroom, there was no temperature difference in the immediate area where I was stewing, waiting for the air to cool around me.So, sorry, not sorry. I will be sending this back and even if the replacement unit would be here by the time we leave for our camping trip, instead of the August 11th date (today is the 21st of July) I would not waste the money on something that doesn't live up to the hype. Look elsewhere.

Meets my needs.
Living in Arizona I’m very familiar with the concept of evaporative cooling. I enjoy sitting on our back porch. Once the temperature gets over 90 degrees it is no longer comfortable. My wife suggested I look into a fan to extend my porch time. I have this set up approximately 3 feet away from my chair. I use two of the frozen water containers, cooling function, oscillation, and low fan speed. It blows on me. It sufficiently cools the area so I can spend another two hours outside.I gave this five stars because it meets my needs.

Doesn't cool that much
The cooler really needs to be placed either next to bed or couch area. Cooler really only blew humid air into room, didn't really cool it even with the ice crystal ice packs. It helped slightly, but definitely not a replacement for an AC unit. If you aim to purchase it, make sure to use very cool water along with ice crystal packs more maximum effect. Room temperature water straight from faucet will melt the ice crystal ice packs included rather quickly and result won't be desired effect.

Pleasantly surprised
The media could not be loaded. I must admit, I thought this was going to be a GIMMICK. Especially given the lack of reviews & not being able to find this product on the internet. I was willing to take the chance given the price ; & knowing I could obtain a refund if it did not work. I was absolutely taken aback, the product does work!! Please ensure to freeze what is referred to as "ice crystals" in the description for at least 8 hrs prior to using the cooling function. In the mean time, the product works great as a fan. The only down side in my opinion, is the product doesn't have a lot of height to it. As you can see in the video.I have the product sitting on an ottoman by the bed. If you're looking for a swift solution to cool a small room , help with nigh sweats, or a quick fix until your air conditioner can be fixed this product is it.

Just a fan, and not a good one.
I guess maybe I misunderstood something but I could have sworn I read something that said that this item came with some ice packs to keep it cold.. however it does not. It comes with a small portion in the back which cannot be removed but can be pulled a little bit out to fill with cold water. Even on its highest setting it is not very powerful. I was hoping to put this in a very small bedroom where my children sleep to help keep things cool during the summer but this thing is an absolute joke, especially for $45. I am returning it. This is basically just a very wimpy fan. True it does have some sort of lighting feature where it has rainbow colored lights, however my kids have a night light that already does that so I really don't need this.

Tried to make it work, but cons outweighed the pros
I tried to work with this unit knowing it was not a high priced item, but in the end the downsides outweighed the positives and I returned it.Pros:*small and light, easy to move around*product support responded to questions in a reasonable time frame.Cons:* didn't cool much -- I was cooled down more by my floor fan than this unit. It did have a tiny bit of cold air but even on high speed it didn't blow much.* cleaning instructions were impractical if not absurd. They say you should clean the tanks daily. But to do that, you need to unscrew the back panel, take the whole thing apart, reach your hand in working around hoses and other parts. I can't imagine anyone actually doing that. why didn't they just make the back panel a snap in rather than a screw in? (I contacted product support and they confirmed this was the process)* very bad/inconsistent directions: says don't run cool without water, but also says don't run cool more than 12 hours without water. (product support would not resolve inconsistency)* did not run as long with water as claimed, which made running it thru the night without running out of water problematic.

Does what it says it’ll do!
I got this AC for my little apartment because it’s starting to get hot now and even though the nights are cold still to open the windows, I didn’t want my dogs to get hot during the day. I live in a SMALL apartment and I can set this up fast with water and the little bottles that you can freeze! It cools down the place quick and efficient! Might have to snag a second one for when the heat kicks up! Recommend!
