Taste of product is quite bitter. Colour is black

Broken walnut pieces with 75% dark brown colored bits which tend to be bitter and 25% light color bits. Walnut shell shards also present. They can cut your gums and hurt the teeth. The vacuum pack is good tho. No way of telling freshness of the walnuts. I won't buy again.
