Runs nice, not to loud. Starts easily. Would not recommend for hard use. Frame is made of (very lightweight steel). Should be ok for short term power outages. Front control panel is very thin plastic. Use care when plugging and unplugging cords.

Great generator!
generator runs great no problems had it stored for a year. pulled it out of storage for hurricane harvey and it fired right up really fuel efficient ran my refrigerator and freezer and lights and box fans on about 5 gallons a day!

Does not work.in the process of sending it back.it came on time.had to pay someone to look at it,recommend to send it back

A lifesaver in a bad windstorm!!
Last Saturday we had a very bad windstorm in the Puget Sound area, and after sitting for months with old gas in this Smarter Tools Generator, it worked, it was a lifesaver ran non stop for 8 hours saved a refrigerator full of food, ran 2 flat screen TV's, 1 modem for internet, 1 router, 1 Amazon Fire TV box, a Dish Network box, and a Computer along with 4 Lamps with LED lights in them, and didn't bog down at all. This generator was a lifesaver. It Works!!! So Good that I'm getting another one to run the chest freezer out in the garage in case we have another outage (we are prone to power outage where we are) I have to admit I didn't buy it through Amazon, bought it at Costco when they had them in stock, but will be buying the 2nd one through Amazon (it's cheaper)
