Update: I contacted customer service. They responded promptly, apologized for the inconvenience, and shipped out a replacement spool. I received the replacement within a few days. With that kind of customer service, I will definitely purchase from them again.Took about 10 feet off to tie some lures and then the line was all messed up and went underneath. Now I have a tangled mess that I can't use for any reel.

It’s good line, but a lot of memory

I liked it for my deep sea fishing reel it worked great, it has good elasticity and it’s strong enough for bigger fish.

I use this for fly fishing leader leader butt sections and it is not bad. Good stiffness and floats pretty well. I went to the reaction tackle website to find diameters. You have to go about 5 lb heavier to match diameter of other manufacturers. (25 lb reaction = 20 lb Maxima). For my uses that is not a big deal, but might make a difference if you plan on filling up a spool. Great price. Really no complaints.

Love this stuff for cat fishing

I got 3000 yds for $10 which is insanely cheap but there are some drawbacks. First, I bought 4 lb. for fresh water fishing, but compared to 4 lb. Maxima Chameleon which it strongly resembles, the Reaction tackle is noticeably shinier, redder, and heavier. Maxima is .007 inch and Reaction doesn't provide this information - strike 1. Second, it's slick. I don't mean cool, I mean extremely smooth - so knots I use all the time pull right out - strike two. Third, some knots break easily - strike 3. The line itself seems pretty tough though once you get it tied right. Yeah, 9000 ft. for $10 is just over a 1/10th of a cent per foot but is it worth it? For $10 you get 27yds. of Maxima Chameleon which is about 9.4 cents per foot. You get more than100 times more line for the $10 with Reaction Red. So for dollar for dollar it can't be beat. But how does it perform? Only you can answer that. At this price, it's a no-brainer. Give it a try.

I find this mono line to be better than Maxima Chameleon for building mono rigs for contact nymph fishing. The material is more supple and has less memory than Maxima's. The line diameter runs smaller than Maxima Chameleon, the 25# version matches the line diameter of 20# Maxima. Additionally, you get 22 times as much line for half the price. Also note that for the red version, the color is brighter than Maxima's. I see this as an advantage for sighting the leader but some folks might not care for it. Overall, a total win!!

Some of the best line I've used. Easy to spool on and doesn't have a memory. So far I have no complaints about this line. Very happy with this product.

Nice strong line easy to tie and good value for money

Used 150 feet of this line, on top of backing, as shooting line with 8 wt. shooting head on fly reel. Works as well as or better than costly, fly line specific poly shooting line. Very happy with this product.

Nice line, thin. I use walleye harnesses alot. After 2 cast line started to kink. Might be good to use with bottom bouncer or casting. Good price just not what I needd

Turns out this is the second time that I have purchased fishing line from them. Great price. This time during the Christmas rush it arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected.
