Ultra Flo panels are made with strong 22-gauge galvanized steel that is then powder coated for added weather resistance. They are available in the following configurations: K-Style Gutter sizes: 5” and 6” Colors: Powdercoat Black Regular hole spacing: 1/4" Small hole spacing: 1/8” Micromesh MicroX hole spacing: 1/16” Step-Down: Specifically designed for applications where the gutter has been installed with Speed-Screw and Quick-Screw hangers. I'm still kind of on the fence on these. They seem like they could work very well, but there doesn't seem to be anything on the back side of my gutter that will keep the guard from just sliding down that back. It works fine where there are the gutter supports (it CAN'T slide down in those areas), but anywhere in between has been a problem. And in areas I have gotten them to install correctly between the supports, they're a tight enough fit that wherever they overlap, the upper guard will push down on the lower one, causing it to slide down the back.12/12/17: I'm downgrading this by a star. I've found that if any significant amount of water is coming down the roof, much of it will slide right over this guard and drip off the front of the gutter - with absolutely no debris blocking any flow. I have gotten most of it installed with the elevated curve in the middle as shown in the ad photos, but that only causes some of the water to drip down the back side of the gutter as well as the front. I do have the finest mesh, and that might be why it's doing this - you can see how the surface tension of the water ends up spanning all the openings in the areas of the dripping - but I read that you need the finest mesh to keep out pine needles. The dirt below these areas is becoming eroded enough that I'm seriously considering removing these guards.

HURRICANE IRMA PROOF Recommended 100%
Installation was relatively easy. Make sure you wear gloves and that your gutters are clean, straight, and firmly attached to your roof. I added zip ties to secure them better where they connect. (That last step wasn't necessary but I thought it would be a good idea. Fold your zip tie in a "U" shape so you can feed them through and up the mesh.) They stood the test of HURRICANE IRMA in Florida. I was impressed because NONE of them flew off and they stayed perfectly in place under 100+ MPH winds.

A great fit for my 5" gutters
The small hole 5" Ultra Flo Leaf Guard Gutter Screen is a great fit on my gutters.I was able to install them by myself and other than constantly climbing up and down the ladder it wasn't difficult. There is an overlap area on the right of each piece so there are no gaps in coverage. As I went along I didn't close the overlap completely when pressing each piece into place. I waited until the entire guard was snapped in and then VERY LIGHTLY tapped the ends with a small hammer (to avoid bending them). They easily slid down completely flush with the prior piece. You will need snips to trim the last piece in for each gutter (cut to length and have an overlap the end on the left side) but that wasn't difficult either.I expect them to work well!

Harder to install than it looks, but worth the effort
Very good material, the individual coated segments are sturdy yet light. Once the segments are in they're in - I don't think that even strong wind gusts have even a remote chance to move them despite lack of any screws, nails or any type of bonding straps. Installed properly they look great should do a great job keeping the gutters clean. What gave me grief during the installation is the stiffness of the product - the push needed to squeeze them in is pretty hard, which is pretty awkward while standing on a ladder. If during the squeezing action a portion of the front-facing wavy portion bends in any direction it can become pretty frustrating. To keep that from happening in the first place I suggest that part of the wavy front portion be covered by stiff plastic, and the overall stiffness should be reduced to make the product more flexible and thus easier to be installed.Overall though, no regrets; it's a good product.

Terrible customer service
I have no doubt this is a good product, however the company that sells it has terrible customer service. You better be absolutely sure that these will work for you, otherwise you will have to jump through numerous hoops as I did just to get a partial refund back and you will be accused of lying on top of that.

Keeps gutters clean!
First, get the right size for you gutters. My house is surrounded by trees and these have almost eliminated gutter cleaning. The only areas that need cleaned out are where the valleys and splash guards prevent debris like maple tree buds & seeds from falling off the edge of the gutter. Some areas were easier to install than others depending on how much the shingles overhang the gutter. Otherwise, they were pretty easy to install and don't create an eyesore.I only did the barn and back of the house last year but will be buying another 100' to do the front of the house soon.

Good gutter covers
I purchased the small hole step down covers which seem like they will work well. If you are not a DIY person then get someone who can install these for you. Tin snips are a must for cutting corners, and cutting down the end piece that may be too long. These took some force to push under the shingles, and snap them to the gutter, but that means they are not going anywhere. The only issue I had is where the cover did not want to fit snug up against the bottom of the shingle, and that was because the gutter bracket was too low, plus sometimes my ends met between the brackets not giving enough support where they came together. I did use a piece of bailing wire as a way of pulling the cover up and into place. (Once snapped in I threaded the wire through the grate which gave me a way of pulling on the grate since you now cannot get your hand under it to pop it up.) I only had a few spots where it left a small gap of 1/8" where leaves will eventually get caught, but they are not getting into the gutter which was the goal. Much better and will last longer than the plastic ones.
