Great fans, love them!
Love these, I've had them for years now and have nothing but good things to say. They're very effective in their cooling function and have a really comprehensive range of speeds that can be set if you have a fan controller. My one gripe has nothing to do with the fans themselves but rather simply the fact that the NZXT CAM software that these are designed to work with is not the best but it works without crashing or anything most of the time so not a deal-breaker by any means. Well-worth the money and if you really hate the software you could always use another third-party open source solution as well. Note that they do get loud under high loads but that is to be expected, and when running at normal capacity they are almost if not completely silent. Highly recommend these to anyone looking for case fans with extensive capability and programmable RGB lighting

Functionally Complements Lighting Theme
For performance, I used this particular one as a top exhaust fan. I have the speeds adjusted for GPU temperature. When idle, my system temperatures have plenty of headroom, and the fans are silent. They keep everyday PC performance where it needs to be - and quietly. When gaming, I may be overshooting my speeds precautiously. Four total fans get pretty loud - within reason - at around 1,500 RPM x4. However, they definitely move air.The RGB setup for NZXT was kind of a pain - connecting to the controller box, figuring out which of the ten wires works in what direction, and then figuring out how you can cable it all. A little annoying that I had to set up both color and power for all four fans. But I understand there are limitations in engineering, etc...I would knock the app if anything. My GPU temps were well understated (62c v 84c true). Now I cannot even see the GPU temp at all, so I had to reconfigure my fan program to anything but the most important reason I want them running. I cannot find a fix on this anywhere I look.Color scheming is pretty customizable. There are also some dynamic variables (CPU temp, GPU, temp to color ranges, etc...). Where I was annoyed: if you daisy chain your color control cable, anything dependent to the first fan (or light) can only be given a different color if you change each individual LED color. This makes trial-and-error a way longer than necessary process.Overall though - I think very good. No regrets. If anyone is buying JUST the fan, I have no reason to believe anything under perfect.

Works great on my CPU cooler in my NZXT H510 Elite case
I replaced the fan on my CPU cooler with this fan in my NZXT H510 Elite case. I set up the light on the CPU fan to mimic the same patterns as the fans on the front of the case and it looks great. To get around the data collection issues people have with the software, I never created an account and use it as a guest, and I blocked it from being able to connect to the internet using Norton's firewall settings. There is absolutely no reason NZXT should be gathering any info about my fans or system unless I specifically opt-in for some reason. It's a great fan if you have a compatible case/controller. It's quiet and looks awesome. And I got a great value buying an open box one from Warehouse Deals.

Works well with NZXT case
I have a NZXT H710 case and recently got the light kit a week ago and wanted to change my blue led fans to the RGB. I bough this one to test. Even in the NZXT case, it is a SNUG fit right about the IO ports in the back. No room for running wires up the side of the fan for sure. This is the 140 mm fan. I did end up having to rerun my 4 light strip wires to change up the way things were connected. I am very happy with the lighting and plan to change out the 4 other fans with these. Althought I might use 120mm in the front instead. I think the software that runs the lighting works quite well.

Im a fan, but beware of what you are buying.
TLDR; If you need more case fans or effective cooling, these will help you immensely. just get the proper hardware to install and get used to a loud computer.I believe this fan is made for an AIO cooler or radiator, as the screws are useless on their own. I was able to install pretty easily will some standoff screws to hold the fans up, but it doesn't look great. If you are using these as case fans, I recommend a case of assorted nuts (only a couple bucks on amazon), to get the fans to stay in place and not fall out of the case.If you can get the fans installed, they are extremely well made and will immediately take effect in your system. These fans are extremely loud when installed, I believe they run close to the 6800 rpm advertised. I personally have not been able to find a software that is able to control the speed or locate a sensor in the fan.

Keeps PC cool and quiet
I bought a 3 pack to replace the 2 front fans and the back fan on my Corsair case ever since some of the fan stopped working. I'm not sure if it's because of my case but the screws weren't cooperating with the fan so that's why I rated the installation 3 out of 5. After that was handled, though, it functioned properly and has kept my PC very nice and cool. You can barely hear the fans spinning and white blades looks alright.
